If you are only in Port Vila for a short stay this cultural centre is a beautiful snapshot into some of Vanuatu’s unique culture. Edgar was a wonderful host and shared with us stories, songs and sand drawings.

Spent an hour here for a bit of a history lesson. Edgar's sand drawing and story telling was a highlight. The place could do with a bit of a make over but don't let that deter you. It's worth a visit. It's a 10 minute...More

This is right next door to the national museum. Apparently the exhibits change from time to time. when we were there, there were only periodicals of Vanuatus" history.

Hey there! I'm a current volunteer at VKS. It's 1000 vatu or $10USD for general admission, 1500 if you'd like a guide (he does all of the sand drawing, flute playing, etc)....definitely worth the extra 500 vatu!
