Stunning Scenery

Quite a few steep steps but totally worth it to swim in the waterfall! Make sure you wear suitable foot wear as you could be walking through water or on slightly slippery rocks.

As part of our independent tour we hired a local Taxi driver for the day at $80.00 starting at 8:30a.m., this incorporated the Cascade Waterfalls, TANNA Coffee Plantation and Hideaway Island snorkelling, Duty Free shopping and Markets at the Dock before our SEA Princess Cruise departed. We could have done the Secret Botanical Gardens on route, but it started to... More

My partner and I were only in Vanuatu for a day visit with a cruise. We bargained a price with one of the hundreds of taxi drivers who greet you as you exit the port who took us around the island to certain tourist spots, and the Cascade Waterfalls was by far my fave. It was about AU$25 each entry,... More

We visited the falls while on a P&O cruise. I get the feeling that the price to enter the falls goes up when a cruise ship comes in, $25 adults and $15Aus children. Make sure you have cash as no credit card to pay at entrance. Falls were beautiful and fun to swim in. Give yourself 1.5 hours if you... More

Visited this waterfall as a cruise tour. Spectacular and great for a swim. Definitely wear runners or reef shoes as its quite a climb and you have to negotiate slippery rocks & paddle through streams. There are ropes to help you up the steeper parts. Well worth the effort.

Must see these waterfalls when in vanuatu! Very family friendly, safe and fun for all! Would recommend a tour, tour guides know the area very well as they are hired from the village bellow the falls.

We arrived in Vanuatu on a cruise ship but found a driver outside the port to take us to the Cascades Waterfalls rather than book the ship excursion. Thus we beat the crowds who were starting to arrive as we left. You pay AUS$25 for admission then are left on your own to climb to the top of the falls.... More

For us this was a nice afternoon, however as we are spoiled with beauty including many waterfalls in Australia we were unsure if it is worth the money (Adults $25 AU, Child $15 plus taxi/driver). Be prepared for a hot, sweaty, all terrain 20 minute walk from ticket counter to the waterfalls though. Stairs and hand rails have been implemented... More

The walk to the falls may not be for everyone nor the 25.00 entry fee. However whilst not the best falls I've seen they were pleasant enough. I would suggest going on a day when no cruise ships are in as you will have much more space to enjoy the many pools along the way.
