Very professional at every step of the process. From booking enquiry, through making recommendations, conducting PADI Open Water Advanced course to the very last moment of the trip! I would highly recommend Neco Marine who wants to have a great, frictionless experience in Palau. I hope to return one day when direct flights from Singapore open up! Make sure you visit Ulong ang German Channel dive sites!

We are both certified and went diving 4 days with Neco. The communication with the team before we arrived was great and clear which made us decide for this club! On site, Kim, was very helpful and organised the trips and diving locations to fit our wishes and so that we can do all the spots we wanted to do!
The boat is very confortable and the material that we rent of good quality! Staff was very very friendly and even took pictures of us during the dives and sent it to us by e-mail or on a CD (for free)! Special thanks to Miwa!!!
Regarding diving Palau, this is just unbelievable! The best dives in our life and we have dived quite a lot (egypt, malta, Cyprus, italy, hawai, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Cuba, Australia, Fiji, Vietnam, Thailand, Cuba, Mexico and so on...)! We have done Blue corner, blue hole, new drop off, german Channel, Ulong Channel and other spots and the highlights were turtles, Mantas and especially lots of sharks (greyshark, white and black tipped)

Amazing dive experience every time I visit Palau. Very knowledgeable dive guides who have a types of local knowledge on marine life. Super safe experience as no safety step was iver looked.

Non transparent pricing, unorganised, inflexible and bad customer service.
I have never written a bad review after a holiday, given I normally would like to have fond memories. However I feel an obligation as a frequent trip advisor user to warn fellow travellers of Neco Marine's service. In balance the guides were good but the ground staff service was beyond appalling.
We booked a full day Jelly Fish, Milky Way and snorkelling Tour and a half day Kayak Tour.
Disorganised: On arrival the first day we were not greeted initially on entrance and simply waited around. They then ushered us onto the boat and it was only when we drove for half an hour out to sea reaching our first dive site they realised they have not fitted us with snorkelling gears for a snorkelling tour! We then had to waste an hour journey back and forth. So if you do book this tour be prepared to remind and organise the staff that they need to give you the snorkel and fins!
Non transparent pricing: A big note on pricing, it definitely feels that there's inconsistency in their pricing system. Our contact MC constantly tried to get more money off us. We asked whether we can include the German Chanel in our snorkelling tour in which MC replied it would cost 10usd extra, but we know of another Neco tour who did exactly the same tour and actually went to the German Chanel free of charge!
Inflexible service: We also wanted to cancel our kayak tour on the last day because we were tired (completely possible according to their website) in which MC replied that we could not because she already booked two other people with us and you need four people on the tour. On the day, there turned out to be only three of us. So at least one of the customers were allowed to cancel, and we were not allowed simply because we were not forceful enough. I enquired to MC what happened to the fourth person who booked the kayak tour and she promptly replied, 'oh they had to go to airport'.
Bad customer care: The 3rd customer who joined the kayak tour ended up paying significantly less (30% less) for the same tour, so the discount happened only because another staff at Neco processed her transactions (not MC). We protested and had to wait for four hours for MC to return to the dive shop in which she yelled at us, saying she made it abundantly clear on email that a half day tour was the same price as the full day. Even though the manager reassured us we would definitely receive a refund and that we just needed to wait for MC's return we did not get any refund at the end of the day, The manager said it was not in her control and the price quoted to the third customer was incorrect, and attempted to comfort us by saying they could technically have charged us for the absence of the fourth customer, but decided not to as they did not specify beforehand (at this time I just had to switch off because everything started to sound like excuses).
There were a few other minor unpleasantries which I shall not mention in detail regarding leaky equipment, incorrect pick up time and dealing with customer queries.
Premium pricing for the poorest of service: Considering Neco charges significantly more than other centres we expected above average service, but what we received was inconsistent pricing, constant misinformation, disorganised service and bad customer care. We left Neco with a feeling that we have been robbed of our money and totally mentally exhausted.

Diving in Palau is fantastic, and Neco Marine's dive instructor, Fabio, and the rest of the boat teams add to the great experience. The dive teams are very familiar with the area (above and below the water) and make the dives safe and fun.
While Neco Marine's facilities are very good, I had multiple issues with the office staff's communication. In advance of my trip, I regularly inquired about Jellyfish lake - this was the real reason I chose to travel to Palau - and they never mentioned that the jellyfish had all died. I even told them that Jellyfish lake was my top priority! I was devastated to learn this once I arrived in the office.
Furthermore, I had arranged for airport pick-up and drop-off, as well as for them to book my hotel. My $15 airport pick-up was very disappointing (I was the first person out of the airport at 3am, and we waited another hour for a group of overseas workers), which meant that I would get less than 4 hours of sleep. I later learned that if I had booked directly with my hotel (Garden Palace Downtown Koror), airport transfer would have been free. Neco Marine refunded my airport pick-up, but that was only after my long complaints.

If headed to Palau keep it simple and choose Neco Marine!!!
I participated in 14 different dives across 5 packed days with multiple other divers on multiple boats and I rate the experience an 11 (of 10) :)! I also learned plenty more than I would have if going with some other through the motions dive shop...

My wife and I recently returned from our 13th dive visit to Palau and thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful underwater world it hosts. Palau is the home to some of the world's foremost dive locations and collections of fish life. Whether one chooses to avail themselves of shore based diving or a live aboard experience, the variety of available dive locations will meet any and all expectations. From sharks swimming off Blue Corner to manta rays feeding in German Channel to nudibranchs frequenting the many walls, it's all there for the viewing and enjoyment.
We took advantage of the 3 dive daily trips offered by Neco Marine based on past experiences with them and the experience of their staff. Foremost among their staff is Fabio Esposito. Fabio is a legend among the Palauan dive guides for his expertise of the many dive locations, his ability to tailor the dive to meet the expectations and capabilities of his divers, and the rapport he quickly establishes with everyone he guides. Multi-lingual, Fabio can easily guide groups with as many as 5-6 different languages and ensure that all receive the full benefits of his support. He seeks out the desires of the group for their dive preferences and tailors the day's diving to meet needs. We have been particularly impressed with his ability to offer a complete dive day while ensuring that safety standards are maintained at all times. In fact, we have specifically requested Fabio as our dive guide the last three times we dove Palau and have never been disappointed with his ability to provide lasting, positive memories of our experiences.
Neco Marine is a premier diving operation and made so by having Fabio as their lead guide.

Terrible experience. I would never use Neco Marine for diving again, and I would never ever recommend them to anyone. These people don't have the faintest notion of what customer satisfaction means. They only care about earning as much money as possible, even making you pay in advance for a service they won't fulfill.
The only bright side was the staff on the boat: excellent dive guide and captain.

Please accept our sincerest apologies. Unfortunately your dissatisfaction comes as a surprise, as the feedback from all of our clients this season has been overwhelmingly positive.
I do not believe we have had any cancellations except for dives needing to be restricted to safe areas due to harsh weather conditions last month from the typhoons passing through to Taiwan. If so, we always prioritize safety and adhere to the local state authority regulations and safety advisements.
If this might have been the case, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and would like to humbly invite you to visit Palau with NECO Marine again.
Our repeat guests are entitled to very flexible rates and discounts. If you’d like to visit us again, please let us know and we’ll be happy to advise on the best season to visit for underwater events.

We were in Palau for a week over Christmas. My husband is a diver, me and our young children 7 and 5 snorkel. Kim at their office was very responsive prior to our trip and excellent with all our queries and other needs throughout the trip.
My husband enjoyed his diving 3 full days, 3 dives each day and could have gone for many more if we had time. Fabio was a fantastic dive master, long experience in Palau and very familiar with the diving conditions and sea life. Real master.
As a family we also rented a boat for full day with Yuki as guide Edi as the boat driver and had a wonderful time enjoying the beaches and Milky Way and several other snorkelling locations.
We highly recommend them.

This is the best dive operation in Palau with out a doubt. The best boats and dive masters. Helpful and thoughtful and they are a lot of fun which always makes any trip easier. In the office Andi can help you with anything that that you may need.
While diving some how my signal buoy came off my BC, the dive master was able to catch it , but when we got back on the boat even he had lost it. He offered to replace it or get me anything (with in the price range) that I wanted. The next morning he had a really nice Neco Marine shirt for me free of charge.
Neco Marine was great about transfer to and from the Hotel and airport and even got a ride back to the hotel one evening by one of the dive mastrers in his personal car. These people go out of there way to make your stay enjoyable and pleasant.
