Once you start driving on this island you will notice two things: The roads, funded by USA, Japan, and Taiwan are in wonderful shape. After that, you will notice that the signage to help you find your way and destinations, is pretty..... "sparse". Get the best map you can, and learn to spot what few signs there are. That may... It is nice place, but we expect something more huge and also we expect we will be swimming under the waterfall. Unfortunatelly it was very shallow. Hopefully we asked the small train to pick up us down, otherwise we would have to hike in very hot weather all the way up. Using the train was adrenaline as we expect it... More

We walked down to the waterfall and back again in the rain (more challenging footing but much cooler to hike). This is a beautiful walk with stellar views over the forest at times and under the canopy. If you want to take the monorail back up, be sure to request that when paying your entrance fee- there's no way to... More

I thought that many tourist will be at the waterfall site, since it is one of the most famous attractions and all the local tour companies have a tours to there. Surprisingly when we went (around 11 o'clock) the place was almost empty - there were very few people coming and going, probably because we rented a car and went... More

It was hot, humid, and muddy, which made for a horrible hike. You have the option of ziplining down, which would cut down your time substantially. It took us about 30 minutes to hike down to the falls, but the climb back up is uglier. Once we got to the falls, it was refreshing to feel the mist. There's some... More

The park has hiking sticks available to use which were helpful in the beginning and while walking across the river to the water fall. The hike isn't bad but if you are not in best physical shape, they have a monorail train that can take you down and up for an additional fee (remember it takes 20 min to go... More

. . .always wonder when a coconut will visit their noggin. It is a long trip to the hospital from the falls. I wouldn't chance it. Visitors don't seem to realize where the uprooted tree that is at the bottom of the falls had to have come from.

Unfortunately not much water in the fall as went during drought. But was a great hike to get there and back. Had a bit of a swim in the river along the way. Dint try the Zipline as was very busy. Would go again just for the walk.

We visited for part of a day on an around the island tour. It was raining that day, so the walk down was slippery. Thankfully a guide from Palau Adventures was taking a group down and helped us, too. (Thank you, Fonzie). The falls were beautiful with a LOT of water (because of the rain). We too the "monorail" up.... More

Had a great day here lots of fun. We made a bit of a mistake with an expensive camera and took it behind the waterfall. That was the end of that camera. We had to wait until we got back to the UK to take it back to the shop and get our money back. Do take care when under... More
