Took one of the snorkeling tours with Jordy. It was wonderful. Saw great fish and snorkeling sites. Even more impressive was when a participant (who had the bends 2 weeks before) experienced them again during the trip. The crew got her oxygen and immediately got her back to Korror where an ambulance was waiting. We went back out after that and continued to have a great time. Kudos to them!

My wife and I took the daylong Rock Islands tour. We snorkeled at several sites, had a picnic lunch on an uninhabited island, swam with black-tipped reef sharks, and wrapped up with a white clay “bath” at the Milky Way secluded spot. As my wife said, it was magical. (And inexpensive!)

During a recent trip to Palau, my husband and I went out on two tours with Sam’s: Jellyfish Lake one day and then Big Drop Off, both which included a few other snorkeling spots. Sam’s has a well deserved reputation as a top diving and snorkeling outfit due to their long record of outstanding service and professionalism. From the office staff (esp Aireen) to their outstanding boat captains (esp Siksei, if I’m spelling correctly, who knows the Rock Islands and its currents like no one I’ve seen before), with Sam’s you’re guaranteed to get top quality.

Jun was our guide both times, and we can state with confidence that he is an extremely competent, professional, hospitable, and thoughtful leader. I would request him again in future trips with Sam’s. One incident in particular deserves mention. I wore my prescription glasses for the short hike to Jellyfish Lake, but then I put them aside on the platform at the lake entrance when I put on my snorkel gear. When we returned, my glasses were nowhere to be found as someone had apparently knocked them into the lake. Jun unhesitatingly jumped into the very murky, foul looking water beneath the platform in search of the glasses, and sure enough, he found them! It was an impressive act of thoughtfulness. But on top of this specific act, he’s excellent at taking time to identify particularly interesting sea life and has a good eye for spotting turtles, sharks, and other creatures.

I am visiting Palau for a liveaboard. But before we head out, I wanted a three tank dive introduction to Palau. I went with Sam's due to their reviews and I am glad I did. With Cello driving, and Ray and Sharon leading, we headed out to the Virgin Blue Hole. After a fun and fast ride through absolute beauty, we arrived and rolled in. A quick swim to the Hole and down we went. It was an experience I will never forget. Our guides then took us to Blue Corner and I learned how to dive with a reef hook. With expert leaders we completed two dives from 2 different directions. Two things did sadden me. First, the day had to end, while second tourists just aren't visiting yet. This is a top notch organization that I highly recommend. Thank you Aireen for all your help in the office.

We used Sam's Tour for a 5-day diving week and wow it was amazing. We dove with Ray and Neil; they both were very knowledgeable of their reefs but also the biology surrounding it - whether it was for birds, mammals, fishes and/or invertebrates, they had an answer.

Aside from diving, we were genuinely impressed by the resourcefulness of the staff (in particular Aireen) who help us book a kayaking tour, an flight tour and even rent a car! Everything was smooth and easy-going.

Cannot recommend them enough.

Extremely accommodating and worthwhile. We couldn't start at 7:45am like they wanted due to our work schedule, so they let us start at noon instead. We wanted to buy some drinks for the tour, they let us go do that and bring them along. They knew all the best stops and were just fantastic. The lunches they provided were top tier as well. They were worth every penny.

Sam's provided an excellent diving experience along with helping to navigate Covid-19 restrictions. We had the "Best" Sam's crew with Sharon, Rockstar(Rockson) and Jimmy (Sorry Jeremy but our boat was better). Sharon was amazing at putting on her mask and sticking her head in over the side of the boat to judge the current an know what sites would be best to dive at the time. Sharon and Rockstar's ability to see and point out the tiniest of marine life and know when the big stuff would come was incredible. Captain Jimmy could drive through the islands in his sleep.
Trip of a lifetime!

My experience with Sam’s Tours was excellent! Jeremy, Mimo and Jordy provided the best guided dive service I have experienced. Most important was our safety. They made sure we had everything needed for our dives. Underwater, Jeremy would point out different creatures and corals. He learned the type of diving we like to do and took us to those spots. We also had a fun time while in the boat! Highly recommend Sam’s Tours!!!

Got certified and had my first dives here!
The workers are mellow and professional. We were fortunate enough to see Mantas, Sharks, Turtles and exotic fish near German Channel!

Booked Hotel and diving with Sam's Tours in January of 2020, cancellation policy states, "If prior to arrival and deposit was made, 5% of the deposit will be charged plus any additional hotel cancellation fees that may apply." However, once the CORVID-19 epidemic broke out they refused to give refunds and stated that they will give a credit if used within the following 18 months.
It should be noted that all of our other bookings, airlines, hotels, rental cars, and other dive operators (MDA divers in Guam) all issued full refunds of our money during the Pandemic.
Palau offers some great diving, I've been there twice before, but since Sam's will not honor their own written policies, they have demonstrated that they can not be trusted, and I will not be diving with them in the future.
