This is one of our favourite places to snorkel in Niue. The water is crystal clear like most of the spots around the island. Walk a couple of hundred metres from the road down a track and a few stairs. The first pool is larger and once you get away from the entry point where the bottom has been trampled... More

The ramps and stairs getting into the Limu Pools make it an easy swim. The water is warm and the ocean swell is around the corner leaving the main pool calm. Best to swim when the tide is coming in and about mid way there. Plenty of smaller fish and some coral to see. If your lucky you'll see the... More

Lovely spot to visit for snorkelling, waters are clear, although some spots where fresh water mixes with the salt water creates temporary fuzziness! Definitely a magical place to visit and experience while on Niue

This is where a saw lots and lots of sea snakes! Amazing views. The water is kind of cold and it is not clear on the surface because of the fresh water input, but it is great on a hot day!

Impressive swimming place, clear water with lots of fish, watch out for sea snakes, they are harmless just let them be and you will be fine. Be careful at high tide, strong current can be a bit dangerous and can be overpowering even for good swimmers, locals are really helpful best time is at low tide. Recommend swimming shoes for... This was our must-visit snorkelling spot every day of our week's holiday. (We went to various others but Limu Pools has the most variety.) We tried it at various tides and there are at least 3 different areas where you can get in the water. The water is clear and the fish and coral are great, of course. Kept seeing... More

These pools are impressive and there are different areas to explore. But at high tide, the swell is a little overpowering, so best not to swim then. Also, one time we went there, five Portuguese Men o' War had been swept in!

We went here a couple of times on our recent trip to Niue. Very clear water with lots of fish and corals to explore. Best at low tide.

Cute pools which are very safe and lots of fish to see. We spent ages looking at them. There are little steps to get down into the water. Perfect for families. Try to go on incoming mid tide.

Easy to get to incredible views & crystal clear waters! One of my favourite places to swim at in Niue it's like a gentle wave pool not the best for snorkelling but there are plenty of other spots if you want to spot fish. I'd recommend going in the mornings as its quite popular to avoid crowds mid - high... More
