Great tour for information. Most of it is recorded and played back, but there is a guide on board who fills in the gaps. Would suggest taking tour during daytime because you can't really see anything when it gets dark.

I caught the last tour of the day! There were only 3 people on the bus and we got a wonderful tour of the city! This city is packed with historical facts and beautiful old buildings and amazing Victorian architecture! Also beware of the ghosts...More

The trolley is air conditioned so that is a big plus. Great stories about the city of Atchison and the mansions and the people.

Just a fabulous tour of many historical buildings and churches. The hour long tour seemed very short for all of the places we saw.

The trolley was being repaired so our voyage was via coach. The driver/tour guide was a retired school teacher with a dry wit. We enjoyed learning how Atchison evolved. Highlights were the bend of the river, Amelia Earhart birthplace and the lovely old homes. The...More

Despite living here, we went on a trolley tour recently when my parents came out to visit. We all learned a lot about the history of Atchison--and not just the ghost stories but also how the railroads affected Atchison's population, who were/are the important families...More
