I visited a sundaymorning service in june 2018. I was heartly welcomed the gate to the frontdoor. the sermon was as modest as the church's ambiance. A pleasant experience!

There has been a church on this site since the 18th century. It's most notable historic association is as the site where freed slaves came to give thanks for their freedom. It is a handsome Surinamese style building surrounded by a fence.
