Don't go here in the night! It's not safe. Don't go alone. Not even in day light. Is a must visit. Just 10 min. walking.

We didn't know what to expect, when arrived it was just a garden filled with palmtrees. Also a lot of garbage spread around and kids hanging doing their "stuff". Not going back..

You can walk through the Palmentuin (better at daytime) from the Waterkant to the other side, not much to see or to do, it's more walking through.

Like the title says: nice to stroll and that is about it. Palmentuin means Jardín de palmeras or garden with palms. Sit and relax :-)

The palms are old growth extending high into the sky. There is a kids playground within the grounds. It's not recommended to wander though at night.

Nice place, full of history, but also a place for beggars. Be careful, they rob. Even for the ladies it's not safe to walk alone. Don't do it by night.
