I try to visit here and support this beautiful place every chance I can. I've seen tons of snakes, lizards, 3-4 types of monkeys, sloth, green Ibis and tons of other birds and insects here. At 20mins from Paramaribo it is well worth the drive...More

We visited Peperpot twice during our trip to Suriname. It's a fine example how nature can regenerate, it used to be a coffee an cocoa plantation, now it's secondary rain forest and swamp forest. Peperpot is an excellent place for nature lovers; full with birds...More

Take the time to walk the trail and quietly view many types of birds and monkeys. The flora is also lovely and the trail is clean and maintained.

A short ride from the city; a nice spot for a pleasant walk on the site of a former plantation. Plenty of birds, plenty of lizards and frogs and (on good days) you will see monkeys too
