Me and the wife nipped in for a look at the newly painted Panteon. I found this place suprisingly moving.

The whole site is cordoned off with construction hoardings but is still guarded by the military,No access possible but looks to be a major draw when finished.

Closed for renovation with a graffiti ridden fence all around. Impossible to get a real sense of what may reside inside.

I love the small shrine that pays homage to Paraguayan heroes! a reminder of how these heroes sacrificed their lives to make Paraguay a better nation.

Unfortunately under restoration at the moment. You cannot enter and only see part of the exterior over boarding. There is an excellent souvenir market in the road alongside which seemed cheaper than other places in the city

Usually well worth a visit .A good guide to Paraguayan history . But now closed for repairs , badly needed , and this will continue to the end of the year or later .

I didn't walk in, but it looks from outside a beautiful architecture and it is under reconstruction. The military and Patriots heroes are resting in this place and it is located across Lido Bar the best restaurant in Asunción

Great place to visit with some local guideat daytime, the ashes of some paraguayan historical figures are held inside. At night enjoy the view eating at "Lido Bar"

Things are still pretty much the same as previous reviewers stated and it doesn't look like it will be completed anytime soon. The surrounding streets offer some shopping stalls.

It's behind an 8 foot tall fence all around, so there is no access and not much to see except the roof of the building. And there is no ETA on when it's going to be done.

Thank heckfy
