Amazing place with refreshing vibes that will help you settle your mind.
The atmosphere. When you walk in there is a small sign that says "no negativity". That sign is not just for show, its a motto that Pandama lives by! It should also be noted that the owners live at the resort, so they are essentially welcoming you into their home and treat you like family. They don't have any rules but be respectful of their lovely home and establishment.
Dillon and Steph were amazing guests with very positive energy. These are the kind of folks that you would enjoy hosting every week. Cheers and thanks folks.. Hope to see you again soon.

    Wonderful
As A Guyanese living in Guyana who has been to most of the creek resorts in the country , I was quite curious to visit Pandama. It was absolutely beautiful. The hammocks by the creek were a wonderful touch . Simple rustic design , but the addition of hammocks by the water gave it that special touch . I found myself sitting in a corner, looking at the dark creek water in the pouring rain , and despite the fact that I was surrounded by scores of loud teenagers ( my own family ) it was still peaceful and introspective. The food was fresh and organic , presented beautifully in a simple calabash bowl , delish ! The trail wasn’t much of a hiking challenge , but worth it since it leads to a great view of the sandy highland area . The aesthetics were for the most part pleasing , except for the bathroom area which was dank and perhaps not the cleanest bathrooms I’ve ever visited . However the welcome and warmth from the host and hostess more than made up for it . All in all , Pandama is truly worth visiting . I highly recommend. In the words of one of my nieces .. “ Omg that was the BEST day .. when are we going back ? “ .. pretty much sums it up.
We thank you for sharing your family with us.... You are always welcome....

    Back to nature
I spent one night at Pandama retreat & winery and here are the things I liked about the place: The highlight of the trip was meeting Tracy and Warren who were unique and affable human beings. I really enjoyed sitting in Tracy's kitchen (which was also a living room with a bed!) and chatting about everything under the sun. I liked the simplicity of the place; all aspects of the retreat were unpretentious, but very colorful with Tracy's various art; eating bowls were out of calabash and utensils out of wood. Many hand-painted pictures and banners surrounded the living room. Black water creek area was very peaceful. Plenty of seating and hammocks allowed one to just hangout relaxing. Long benches were colorful with Tracy's art. It was also a good place to swim and frolic in water. However, I was too chickened to jump in where I could not see underwater. Pandama had a variety of wines made out of local fruits and vegetables. Apparently, there usually was a wine tasting in the evening, but unfortunately I had to retire early for the night due to a bad cold before Warren & Tracy returned from a trip. So, I could not take part in this. I however, tried a bottle of Jamun wine, which was pretty good. I also took a bottle of pepper wine home, which was good (and cleared all my sinus problems!) I also enjoyed exploring the walking trail around the Pandama property listening to birdsong. Here are some suggestions for making it even better for overnight visitors who come for the first time: Please put a note on the website asking visitors to bring their own towel and a good lamp for the chalet. Yes, I got a solar lamp, but it was too dim for me to see anything. Luckily I had my reading light. Please provide some source of water close to the chalet (such as a bucket of water) so that one does not have to walk in the dark looking for a place to wash hands. If possible, ask the neighbor who plays loud music at 6 a.m to try it at 7.30 or later on. I know some people sleep through it, but what bothered me was not being woken up rather jolted out of my peace & quiet listening to the rain drops, wild insects and birds. I was a bit sad because I was running away to Pandama to avoid the very thing in my crowded neighborhood in Georgetown. All in all, I was happy I got to know Pandama, especially Tracy & Warren.
95% of guests bring their own towels... Water is located by toilet facilities... Solar lights are just for moving around... Readers usually have headlight with them.. Neighbor is quite far..but music carries... We will invest in earplugs...but then you won't hear the birds...hmmm! Pandama is our home...our guests live as we do every day...anything you need just ask...

We were in Georgetown Guyana and had a day to kill. We couldn’t get a tour to the falls when someone told us to go to Pandama. It’s about an hour drive outside the city and down a dirt road. We were greeted warmly by the ex pat owners/hosts Warren and Tracy. We took a tour of the property and planned lunch for 1pm. The property sits in the forrest and is an open air off the grid lifestyle facility. If you’re expecting the rainforest cafe, this isn’t it. So Sit down, take off your shoes and go for a swim in the black water pond. Then Sit down for a wine tasting of Warren’s home made wine (it’s excellent). Lunch was a delicious surprise of fish, vegetables, fruit and potatoes served in a wood bowl. The Guyanese poke bowl. We sat around and engaged in delightful and insightful conversation. Our only regret if we didn’t spend the night in one of the forest bungalows. This was the highlight of our trip. We will be back for sure. Skip the bazaars, traffic and craziness of Georgetown and head straight to Pandama.

Cool location. The wine wasn't nearly that great though. I'm always wary that people call these fermented fruits wine at all. The taste isn't the same. The hosts are lovely and the place is cozy. I've never stayed overnight.

Sorry you felt that way about our wines. It is customary for guests that have not enjoyed tropical fruit wines before to embrace the subtle differences rather than criticize them. Is is however gratifying to know that most of our guests that try our wines enjoy them. Maybe you should be a little more open minded in the future. We are however happy that you stopped by. Cheers.

The place is not easily accessible, unless you get there with a four wheel drive vehicle. Once you’ve arrived , you’re greeted by a multitude of under nourished dogs. On the bright side, the dogs give you a warmer welcome than the owners ( a husband and wife ). The owners seem to always be pre occupied by something other than your well being or paying you any attention. They immediately let you know what monies they want from you and seemed to only be concerned about taking your money, without you knowing anything about the run down overgrown forest dump.

This is obviously a lame attempt to create an unnecessary feud. This is so out in left field that we will not dignify it with a response. We will however report this to Tripadvisor. So very sad.

Great people, Great Service, Great Wine, Great Atmosphere.

Did a SWOT Analysis of Pandama and these were the findings.

Strengths
Uniqueness
Overnight rustic accommodation and facilities
Promotes eco-tourism
Support CSR
The product is affordable
Produce one of the best local wines
Active on social media
Understand the local market and how to distribute their product ( they allow the consumer to have their own experience)
Accept credit card

Weakness
Access to the destination
Does not fit into the natural aesthetics of the environment
No business structure
No outsourcing (internationally and locally)
Opportunities to expand but do not want to
Stagnated water source
The animal needs to contained
Not knowing what you are being served

Opportunities
Bigger signs for directions and advertising of the destination
They can expand, vertically, exporting, employing more locals
Kid friendly menu
They can hire an undergraduate to learn the management of the business
Promote more local businesses

Threats
The idea can be easily transported
Too much potential competition in the area
Management is not open to new ideas – product oriented and not consumer orientation
Not open for recommendations
