They are refurbishing the cathedral so you can’t go in. It is impressive from the outside. Worth a look you will see it if you do a city tour.

This unique building is among the most impressive in Georgetown. Despite its size, it exudes an air of tranquility. The perfect place for some quiet reflection amidst the heat of the day.

I'm not a fan of churches but definetly for architecture. I liked the interior more than the exterior. The location is good, quite easy to get there. You can mix the trip with Stabroek market and other interesting places.

One wonders how difficult it must be to maintain a wooden building in Georgetown's humid climate, which makes it even more impressive that this is the largest wooden structure in the western hemisphere. A must see.

The building is impressive especially when realizing that it is made of wood. Two large metal ribs were added over the years. The building is in need of repair and each year it seems to deteriorate.
