The catholic influence is very obvious in Bogotá and Colombia, but even tho, some of the churches and temples will be a real surprise in terms also of art and architecture. And in my opinion, this church is one of the most underated gems in...More

Very nice church with wonderful stain glass. Modern by Bogota standards (1920s), so it has a very different and sparse decor. Worth going to just to see the stained glass window.

Senora del Carmen cathedral - interesting color scheme for a church.... like a candy cane. Stunning on the inside. Definitely worth a walk through.

It´s one of teh most beautiful churches in Bogota at a central city location. I was really impressd by its style and and architecture. Still there are not too many tourists visiting at the moment.

The nicest church in Bogota is Nuestra Senora del Carmen, from the outside and the interior as well. Check the Schedule before you go, as you can find it closed (I had to go twice: the first time doors were closed). It is very beautiful...More

I went there a few times, not just on a Sunday, so maybe it depends on the season.
