Our guide Daniel is a native to Bogota and his English was great. He took us around the old city in Bogota and taught us all about the history and culture significance of the different sites. This is definitely an information packed tour, I learned so much and really enjoyed taking the tour. I recommend going early in your trip as you will appreciate everything else you see so much more.

This is such a fun tour, can't recommend it enough! This tour is free, but make sure to bring your pesos to tip the tour guide. We learned so much and our tour guide, Juan was fantastico! Great way to start our trip to get a feel of Bogota. It goes twice every day and you don't have to reserve ahead of time and meets at the Gold Museum. Take this tour, you won't regret it!

We also took their food walking tour which was super fun! We were already familiar with the area due to the other walking tour, but they take you to super authentic places and if you try everything it is about $8. Do this tour as well and make sure to tip your tour guide!

Excellent tour with a very informative, well spoken and friendly guide named Carlos. Takes three hours as he guides you through a few sites that are important to the history of the city. More than the actual sites, its the description that Carlos gives that makes it interesting. Also shows you a few nice spots to eat and drinks. The only cost is a voluntary tip at the end with USD$10 seeming the median amount.
would highly recommend this tour though it sounds like they are going into hibernation due to Coronavirus related restrictions.

Byron was an excellent guide to familiarize is with Bogota. He shared stories, told us about local culture, customs and history and introduced us to the local delights of Bogota. This tour was well worth it and I would highly recommend Byron as an English speaking guide.

Fantastic walking tour. Very educational, you learn tons about local culture and history. Our guide Carlos was the best! He is so engaging it ends up feeling much shorter than it is. :o Absolute must do if you are in town.

We took the tour with Jeff who clearly is very passionate about the topic. He walked us through the art with the intention of helping us understand the expression and intent behind it. Colombia clearly has a deep story to narrate and a tour with someone who is willing to take you behind the scene and explain the situation to you is a very rewarding way to explore a new country.

I took this tour extremely tired, after having flown for a day, and Daniel was entertaining enough to keep me interested the whole time! He was a font of knowledge and had a great style telling stories.if he didn’t know the answer to something, he found it out.
The tour takes you all over La Candelaria and shows you the important places in this part of the city.
I definitely recommend this tour as a jumping off place for your time in Bogota.

A very enjoyable and informative tour.
Our fun guide Arturo was great and knew all the history, also makes a fab photographer. It’s sad to see the streets so quiet, I thoroughly recommend anyone to take part in this tour of the stunning city!

We took the War and Peace tour with Jeff and could not recommend it more highly. Such a thorough explanation of the Colombian wars - we came away feeling like we’d benefitted from a university level lecture or a whole school history module! It was absolutely fascinating and Jeff was extremely patient with our questions. We’re leaving Bogota now to head to other areas of Colombia and feel well set up with a much better understanding of this country and its history!

What makes a walking tour great is the charisma and energy of the guide no matter how fascinating a city or it's history is. One such amazing guide we had for tour was Byron or Lord Byron as we called him. He gave great insights on the City of Bogota and there was never a dull moment in the tour. Such an engaging tour overall to know about the interesting city of Bogota. I highly recommend this walking tour.
