My friend and I went on this day trip. It was awesome. Beautiful views away from the hustle and bustle of the city. But most impressive was the guide. Tommy was great! The elevation and long walking messed with my asthma. But he was encouraging and attentive. And I did it! He was everything you'd want in a tour guide. PLUS did I mention beautiful views?! It was a great day. I'm sending all my friends that come to visit. This was my favorite thing that I've done while here.

I've participated in many cultural exchanges and international events in my travels, but this was definitely one of the best. It's unique, fun, and a perfect way for travelers and Colombians to meet and spend the day together. We had an awesome time running around the city completing different challenges, and also enjoyed the after-party cookout and beers! Great vibe and great people. Looking forward to the next one!

I went with my boyfriend and despite as being late Tommy waited for us to arrive, and greeted us with a smile and handed us all the clothing package. He went over the itinerary for the day and join us with another couple. We then spend the next 2 and half hours completing challenges and having fun and seeing the Avenida Septima in Bogota. It was good for my boyfriend to meet people that as well is new in Bogota and learning about the city. We head back to The Australian Beach House and have a good afternoon with more challenges!
Awesome plan for locals who wants to practice English and for expats to meet new people!

I'm usually not one to write reviews but I had to make sure to note the amazing time that I had with my friends doing the Food Tour. It was above and beyond my expectations. We traveled to the famous Mercado which we went to the day before solo and I first thought it would be a waste....instead I ended up having a great experience trying foods I only stared at the day before. Literally 6 hours later we ended right in the spot where Bogota was founded. If you want really experience Bogota I highly recommend you do this tour.

we were lucky to have guides like Andrea and Don who guided us through fruit market where we tried delicious Kolaches filled with cheese and Guava jelly, and various exotic fruits.Down Town was beautiful with a walk to the presidential palace and pictures with the Presidents Military guards.,
a delicious lunch Ajiaca, huge serving beware! Candelaria was next with a stop at the Tour office for a quick Tinto .Last stop was a Gondola Ride to Monserrate with beautiful views. we were picked and dropped at the airport in a timely fashion.
we had a great time and highly recommend Bogota and Beyond

My family did a pair of tours (City tour and Combo tour) with Tommy in Mid January and they were among the most enjoyable we have ever experienced. Tommy is a gem of a guide and human being and did his best to make sure we were totally satisfied throughout. I would not hesitate to recommend him or his company to anybody. Anybody taking the time to read this review should reach out to Bogota and Beyond for a tour, they are good people.

I've taken organized day tours on six continents, and the ones I took through Bogotá & Beyond were the very best.

I did the "Combo" tour and the "La Chorrera" tour during my five day stay in Bogotá.

For the Combo tour, I was joined by a family from Long Island. Simon did a great job of entertaining and informing us as we went from one location to the next. He was friendly and hospitable throughout the tour. Simon was always friendly and hospitable. The restaurant where we had lunch in Guatavita was fantastic. I strongly recommend ordering the trout, which comes from the lake down the hill.

For the La Chorrera trip, our bus was full, and both Tommy and Simon shepherded our group with aplomb. The walk to and from the road to the waterfall is challenging, but the scenery is worth the effort.

I also participated in the Septima Challenge during my stay in Bogotá, and it was an absolute blast. The challenges our team faced were entertaining and engaging. I was afraid that this activity would be geared more toward younger people, but there were people of all ages involved. Seriously: If Simon and Tommy are running the Septima Challenge while you're in Bogotá, you should definitely do it. Also, the Irish Pub where you meet up afterward is first rate.

I visited Bogotá over Christmas, and I made all of my tour arrangements with Tommy before I left. He was very helpful and responsive, and he even invited me to join him, Simon and their friends for Christmas dinner at Andrés D.C. There were other travelers who had arranged tours with us at the table as well. It was a legendary evening, and it further shows how hospitable Tommy and Simon are.

Bogotá is a wonderful city, and the chaps at Bogotá & Beyond do a wonderful job at showcasing it and making travelers feel welcome there.

I spend my first day in Bogota with Eduardo (super personable, intelligent guy), who was able to tailor the day to my interests as I preferred to get a feel for the city and orientation, rather than hit a bunch of museums (which I did do later on my own).

I wanted to get some insights about life in Bogota, current and past challenges -- The discussion started over some great coffee at Cafe Cultor, continued through lunch, eating Ajiaco and by the end of the day, I was amazing how quickly time went by.

My initial inquiry was answered by Tommy who promptly kept me up to date with availability as I was a solo traveler. Note: The one day tour can be done solo, no problem. Rest of the tours have a minimum. I would have loved to have gone on the hiking tour -- Next time!

This is a great company to deal with. Their mandate is to help change public perception of Colombia. To be honest, I didn't have any hard ideas of what I thought I would find as I've had too many instances where what you read isn't how it feels on the ground. So I prefer just to show up and decide for myself. And I found that there was little to worry about. My 5 days in the city just flew by.

Hey, Glad Edu looked after you and was able to make the day tour very personable. He is a very friendly guy thats for sure as well as being a local he understands the city life! Happy to hear after the tour you felt more relaxed in Bogota and could enjoy it! Thats awesome news as that really is the start of the change we are trying to be apart of. Cheers for the thorough review, Tommy
