If you´d rather have a nice and calm afternoon with local people, tropical fruits and outstanding coffee, Simon Bolivar Park is your place. In the middle of the Metropoli and crowned by the Virgilio Barco Library (one of the biggest libraries in LAtinAmerica), you´ll have no remorses for spending your time doing nothing than have a walk. Spectacular place!!

I passed through on my way to the Biblioteca Virgilio, and found that the park was much bigger than I expected. In the center is a lake where you can rent a row boat. I walked around the perimeter and was surprised by how green and spacious the area was. I also saw a playground, a huge chapel, a lookout,... More

A fascinating display of kites, people, and nature. During the month of August, people can use their own kites. There were plenty of kits and people but an overall sense of peace and serenity despite the density. Also a lot of yummy and unhealthy temptations.

It's a good Park to have a nice stroll, have a picnic, and do a lot of activities/sports. I would recommend to go with family and friends.

Me and my boyfriend went there as we had no plans for an afternoon, so we decided to go for a walk. It's a great peaceful place, out of the noise of the city, and the boat rental it's really fun and worth it. We had fun doing that!

A great place for families or anyone else to get away from the city. There are a good selection of food vendors and lots of space to let the children run around. The lake is nice and well maintained. The views are nice and there was obvious security. It is good for running, cycling or just taking a nice walk.
