A great place for families or anyone else to get away from the city. There are a good selection of food vendors and lots of space to let the children run around. The lake is nice and well maintained. The views are nice and there was obvious security. It is good for running, cycling or just taking a nice walk.

Huge beautiful park helps you to escape the city. The lake is the best park with several trails going around it. The park is larger than Central Park, New York. There are many kinds of trees here including maples.

I have visited here on a Sunday, it is beautiful and full of families who camp out in the Parque complete with stock pots of foodand they spend the full day there! It is huge and lots of facilities include a boating lake, park, sand pit and so much more. It is a lovely place to see that families are... More

In the middle of a busy city where traffic congestion is the agenda, this is a very good place to have fun and have a relax time.

There is a lot of nature and fresh air. Go on a sunny week day. Weekends are too crowded. Bring some walking shoes and bottle Of water.

This park is HUUUUUUUGE!!! So bring your walking shoes and clear some time out of your schedule. It is well maintained and beautifully situated. You can see the skyscrapers and the mountains but especially during the week it is pretty quiet. You can reach the park by Transmilenio, busstop: El Greco/Salitre, you do have to walk about 5 blocks to... More

I spent some time in Parque Simon Bolivar alone one afternoon and really enjoyed it. The grounds and paths are pretty well maintained. It is easy to find a quiet spot along the lake to relax and enjoy. Many people out running and biking along the paths during the day, but not so many that it feels "busy." A few... More

Amazing. Where I come from, parks are not something we really invest in. So that's probably why my jaw dropped at 1) the size of this park, 2) how well kept it is, and 3) how spectacular it is. Loved it!

HUGE park with so many wonderful walkways and areas for soccer or relaxing, even boating. There are a variety of areas to walk, shaded, hilly, etc. Plenty of food vendors should you get hungry, paddle boats are available as well as a cruise around the lake. Well kept and safe.

I just went here because I was walking around Bogota. The river is pretty nice and a good stop-by on your way to the botanical garden.
