This museum is connected to Museum Botero and Casa de la Moneda (in January closed). It was free to enter and had wide collection of art works. Well worth a visit. Confusingly it has two names - MUMA and Bank of Republic Art Museum.

The second floor of the museum was closed. That left a small mediocre collection of Colombian artists located on the first floor. The museum is connected to Museo Botero and Casa la Moned. Free admission

This art gallery is right next to the Botero and worth a visit for its eclectic collection of colonial excesses and works by contemporary artists.

This museum is attached to the Botero and the Money museum. There are some really great rooms of art and others are hit and miss. a nice walk through and free.

This showcase of Colombian artists and artists with links to the country makes for a perfect follow-up to a visit to the Museo Botero, as it also features works by said artist while shining the spotlight on such local classics as Camargo, Zamora, Mendoza, Figueroa and Santa María. There is also an interesting and varied selection of more modern Colombian art.

After visiting the marvelous Botero museum nearby, this modern art collection is a bit disappointing, because it is not as comprehensive as the Botero. The overview of modern Colombian art is limited. Presentation of various modern Colombian artists like Santiago Delgado, Alejandro Obregon, Omar Rayo and Luis Caballero to name just a few is restricted in amount or lacking. Of Caballero there are some stunning sketches of male nudes.
Still well worth a visit.

Bogota is an amazing city for the art lover. This is another great museum worth visiting. The entrance is free and you will need at least an hour and a half to see it. There is a small cafe inside and the museum is sharing the space with both the Botero museum and the Museo de la Moneda. So allow half a day to see all three.

Connected to the Botero Museum, you will find Museo del Arte del Banco de la Republica, as well as the Casa de la Moneda.
The Museo del Arte has early work of Botero & a fine collection of Colombian artists. Give a nice impression of national (modern) art.
Easy to combine with Botero Museum.
tip: try Marcha Restaurant in the Museum. Great food!

A must vist. Excellent presentations, high quality collections and the opportunity to see old and new art in one and the same place. Be prepared to spend the day, or at least an entire morning or afternoon.
