ogota Great club. 744161949 Firstly this is an integrated club not a gay club - by which I mean everyone is welcome here. Gay, straight lesbian, trans whatever. This matches Colonbia's inclusive culture It's open only Thursday Friday and Saturday and you must take photo ID to get in - no exceptions. It is very well managed, cost check very fast and efficient with 14 people on it in a long row so no waiting to drop off or pick up. There are 13 bars on 4 or 5 floors. If you have problems with stairs this is not the best place to go. The entry fee was 55000 at Feb 2020 which included free drinks until 2am then a paid bar. Every room has one or more bars and never a queue to get served. There are separate spaces for men and for women plus 11 other bars. There are also places to sit.

Amazing club and professional remixes ( audio and video on huge screens)
Theatron is a night club so huge that you will for sure get lost with whomever you came with as I did:) So many levels, different dancefloors with different types of music- gotta love that!!! Something for everyone. Colombians really know how to party, place is safe full of security. Be prepared for it to be crowded as in thousands of people at anygiven time of the night. People are so nice and welcoming. The only thing is the ticket redemption for the free drinks is confusing for me as a foreigner and a firsttimer. But I should have asked a friend beforehand maybe. Admission ticket was $50,000 ( 50mil pesos, it is not in American dollar$). After the club when you walk out there are plenti of taxis but I ordered uber. Also many street food vendors so if you are hungry you could eat right outside. Thank you for a great party Theatron! Visitor from Miami.

Biggest gay club in Latin America
When in Bogota you visit (as a gay guy) the biggest gay club of Latin America, Theatron. It’s located in an old theatre and has 13!!! Different areas. Some saturdays you will find around 5000 people dancing on all different kind of music styles. We really liked our night but in theatron but A bit overwhelming. But you have to see this place at least once in your life.

Like one of the other reviews show, this club is racist and elitist. I once went out with 6 other people. And they said I couldn't go in, because I needed a membership. My friends spoke with the guards and managed to get me in. I don't know why they first didn't want to let me in, but there's no good reason to deny someone and bring such a bad excuse like needing a membership card. Sadly there are many clubs in Colombia discriminate against darkskinned, poor-looking or "ugly" people. I had a good night over there but if you are against racism and other discrimination, you shouldn't go here, I won't anymore.

After reading reviews on Trip Advisor we expected this club to be amazing. The cover charge was to include drinks and there was suppose to be at least 9 different DJ rooms. We were patted down and wanded like we were about to walk into a mega club, inundated with party goers. Wa wa wa wahhhhh. The cover charge turned out to be 50mil and didn't include drinks. There were two different options of DJ rooms, both playing boring and unimpressive music. The whole night there must have been no more than 50 people in the entire club. It's the worst club I have ever been to in every country I have visited. Also it was disturbing to find male security loitering in the female bathrooms. The Colombians we spoke to justified the lack of people presence due to it being a long weekend for Columbus Day. Regardless, it was over priced and I would not recommend Theatron.

This is hands down the best club I have ever been to in my entire life. Better than Vegas, San Diego, LA or Thailand. You WONT be sorry. The line is long but moves fast. For $32,000 pesos (about $17.50 USD) it is all you can drink. Well drinks but hey for $17 one can't be too picky. There are about 8 different "clubs" inside each decorated amazingly and with different music. Something for everyone. An amazing out door area. Honestly you won't want to leave. Its on "septum" in the rougher part of town. Don't go walking around that area past sun set. Don't stop to talk to anyone, ask for directions ect. Pack light since they pretty much won't let you bring anything in. Don't be surprised if the door man is NASTY. They will through anyone out of the line or the club who dosent follow the rules. So be on your best behavior. Only carry an ID, enough cash to get in and get home. Honestly there is SO many people packed in there…. pick pockets must be everywhere.

Used to be a great place. Now too many people, two blocks long wait or more to get in on Saturdays and they discriminate against some, forcing them to buy memberships or not letting them in, but not all people have to buy, they don't like old, dark skin, simple people. I went with my partner, I was allowed to go in as a gringo and my partner from Cali not, although I live in Florida and he in Cali, neither from Bogota, we didn't want a membership, yet I could enter without one and he was being forced to buy it or not be allowed in, they discriminate. This is so wrong, how can they do that to couples trying to go in together? The place used to be good and a lot of fun, now too many people, a safety hazard if they ever had a fire or earthquake, poor service to get a drink and long waits, drugs galore, and dangerous, bad attitude from staff. Looks like I won't go back, but I think people running it will destroy the business not allowing some in, I saw that they did not let a lot of young dark-skinned poorer looking guys in. Too elitist now, The place is a zoo, there are much better places now in Bogota than this place, safer, and more welcoming. They discriminate and are racist to their own people. They will be the ruin of their own demise. Don't waste your time, they used to be good, not anymore though as of May 2014.

Initially I avoided going to Theatron because it was so hyped that I felt it might be too mainstream (I admit, that's a bit snobby of me). Well I'm glad I didn't let my sense of superiority get the better of me because Theatron is a must see and must do in Bogota. There is nothing else like it. The weathered industrial exterior belies the creative and kitschy myriad of spaces in the interior done in a blend of Vegas/Disney style. There's a small outdoor plaza on the 3rd level, and the rooftop bar and firepit is wonderful. There's something for everyone here and it's a great testament to the club management that all facets of society mingle here in harmony. Its a treat just to walk around the club and experience the different spaces. The free drinks with cover is a great deal too. This is not just a club experience, but a cultural experience too. Great job Theatron.

A few years ago, Krave in Vegas with 70K sqf tried to advertised itself as the biggest gay bar in the world. They never were able to open but probably they didn't know that Theatron in Bogota (Colombia) was already the biggest gay bar with about 65000 square feet, 5 floors , 13 different environments occupying a whole city block with a capacity that could easily reach 10000 people or more. To put that in perspective that is about 4 times the size of the Abbey in Los Angeles, 5 times the capacity of Amerika, the largest gay bar in Buenos Aires or 9 times the capacity of Heaven in London.

The bar opened as Teatrino in 2002 with just a fraction of the capacity but over the years has added new environments (Theatron, Plaza Rosa, Metro, Beerlin, Templo, Eva, 360, Epoca, La Cantina, Palma , Baru,) for different musical tastes including Pop, Electronic, Reggaeton, salsa, house, rock, etc. It even includes a rooftop bar with views of Bogota.

The cover is about $10-$15 Dollars which includes an all-you-can-drink cup that you can fill up until certain time of the night. You may not have that many options of brands or even types of liquor as they probably only will serve Vodka, Rum and Aguardiente and mix it with some available flavored soda drink. But you still will get drunk nonetheless. For beer, energy drinks or brand name liquor you have to pay extra which may be inconvenient as you first need to get in line to get a receipt for each purchase and then go to the bar.

There is usually some show at the main bar around 1am that can include a drag performance, dancers and even sometimes big artists like Colombian Fanny Lu, Marbelle or international like Boy George.

Not all environments are open every day but usually Saturdays are the busiest when the whole club is open.

I've been in theatron a few times, and the waiting on the line is not a pleasant situation. After being waiting for about 30 minutes, the guards asked me for a membership card, as I didn't have one they told me I couldn't go in. My friends and I decided to go to the Zona T and we had a better time on a less crowded disco.

Went to this club on Pride weekend. Although being a straight couple we had a great time and felt extremely welcome. A huge mix of all types of people. We got lost in there as there is at least 4 floors with a handful of different bars/clubs on every floor with completely different genres of music and decor. Something for everyone, even a live band in one area. Had a great night paying 45,000 COP for an open bar from 9-2. I'd recommend to everyone coming to Bogota, whether straight, gay, bi or whatever your persuation you'll have a great night out!

Was visiting in Colombia and a friend of mine had recommended the club, I decided to go but what a surprise I took when I entered a woman stopped us and took us with another man who told us that we had to buy a membership I told the gentleman that I bought it and he told me that it was only on the internet it is the most discriminatory act despite making a club that they recommend I found bad the service they present. No one has the right to discriminate and this club does !! We went out with my friends and we went to another club that a gentleman told us the waiter and very good rumba and they do not discriminate against anyone !! Bad attitude i will never go back

We went on the saturday where it was free drinks with a 45000 pesos entry fee. That seemed like great value to me. We were not dissapointed.

I work in clubs and bars and this place was pretty amazing. Its predominantly a gay club but everyone is very friendly. As long as you are open minded are not prejudice against people you should have a great time here.

First off this place is MASSIVE. There are 3/4 floors at least. There are at least 10 different rooms all with different DJ's playing different genres of music. I even saw a mariachi band walking through the club although i didnt see them play.

There was the rooftop area that i liked the most. The music was more up my street, the first DJ was a bit pony but the guy on after was a bit better. I cant fault the range of music. the house and techno was not amazing but the best ive heard in columbia. Also i understand that it may not be the main attraction for the local people.

Everyone was suer friendly, great value. Amazing venue and space.

Would definitely recommend.
