The museum content is interesting with some very nice pieces but probably not worth a big detour. However if you’re in the area it is worth stoping by as this ancient mansion is extremely nice and well preserved. there is a nice park around too.

It is a small museum but it packs a lot into its rooms. There's an introductory video which has English text on it to tell you about the history of the house and its land.
There are lots of glass, pottery and metal items along with paintings and other artifacts to see. The house itself is a gem to see.
Have a wander around the park that surrounds it afterwards and relax in its grounds.

I wouldn't call this museum stunning or integral to your Bogota trip, but it's worth visiting if you have free time. The museum is in an old hacienda that belonged to a wealthy family. Though diminutive in size, it has a beautiful collection of objects from around the world. The objects (dishes, religious icons, cloths, etc) belonged to the family. The other beautiful feature is the tilework (check out the bathroom!). Some rooms have been set up to replicate what it would have looked like when the family lived there.
All of the text that I could see was in Spanish. I also got an informative tour from a very friendly young lady. That too was in Spanish.
If you arrive before 10 am, as I did, be sure to have a stroll through the park that the museum is part of. The park has a lot of playground equipment for children, and benches to lounge on. A really cool feature is the English double-decker bus that has been converted into a café.

The park is open every day till 9pm. It is simply a green place where you can end up for a picnic with friends, playgrounds for kids and bar and coffe at "Brot" bakery and cafe, in a london bus.
Bathroom facilities and recreational activities for kids like painting, all nicely and very well organised. Indeed we had a super great day with friends. recommend to visit to really chill lout like colombians do!

While I would not suggest traveling a long distance within Bogota to see this, since we were staying nearby, it was a pleasant walk through Parque 93 and up to this museum, located in its own park. It presents the personal collection of Mercedes Sierra de Perez, who then donated the land and the building and her collections of porcelain, silver, glassware and decorative arts items to Bogota for this museum.
There was a short introductory film in Spanish that was useful. Both the building and the contents are beautiful and well=labeled, in Spanish. The staff was very happy to answer questions (in Spanish) and there is a VERY small gift shop with a few small souvenirs of the visit.

We were staying a few blocks from this lovely hacienda - it's well worth the time to view the lovely home and gardens. The artifacts are all labelled in Spanish but it's not necessary to know all the details - just enjoy the settings and the beautiful interior garden - well worth the small entrance fee.

This small gem of a museum is tucked into a lovely park in an upscale neighborhood in Bogota and offers an interesting collection of porcelain, silver, religious objects, glassware, and other European and American decorative items from the 18th through 20th centuries. The inner-courtyard gardens are lovely, though not open to the public and viewable only through the leaded glass windows of the building. This is an ideal spot to spend an hour or so in a serene setting—perfect for those who tend to get overwhelmed by large museums and big crowds. (We were there on a weekday in March and were the only visitors.) Displays are well presented and, although the signage is in Spanish only, can be enjoyed without knowing explicit details of the items’ origin. The surrounding public park (Park 93) and playground are an added attraction.

Nice city park. Good for mixed groups (With/without children) as you can enjoy together a perfect picnic and the children can play at one of the most complete playgrounds in Bogota-North. Crowded on Sunday, please go early to have a good place for the pcinic. Has a bakery on truck in case you don´t bring your own food. During September-October branded supermarket and one beer company use to organize massive events-picnic type that are a "don´t miss", specially for adults.

Unfortunately the museum was closed for a 'special occasion/event' for a couple of weeks on the Sunday I visited, which was disappointing as I'd checked the website the day previously and there was no mention of this. Nevertheless the gardens are lovely and a great place for a family picnic or just to find some peace and quiet in the middle of this bustling city. There is a fee to enter the museum but the grounds are free to roam around.

I didn't drive but from what I could see there was very little parking available inside the museum site. Parking is available on the streets around it though if you can navigate the Bogota one-way system!! I walked there.
