This modern building proves that the Mexican-Colombian friendship goes beyond the love of mariachi music. The famous Nobel Prize winner Gabriel Garcia Marquez is considered Colombian but died in Mexico . The cultural center is a gift from Mexico to Columbia. You will enjoy the...More
This is a beautiful and vast bookstore with beatiful modern architecture where you can relax and enjoy reading and selecting the books you wish to buy.

A great partnership is here, in the middle of the cultural old center of Colombia. Since Gabriel Garcia Marquez was almost Mexican, the Mexican government created with the local government this amazing cultural center. They have a library and coffee shop. Also galleries and open...More
The place is interesting particularly for the temporary exhibits and the bookstore. But do not visit expecting to find anything about GGM at the place: no museum, no photos, nothing. It is still a place to walk through.
As I walked towards Museo Botero, I was attracted by the loud music coming out of this attraction. I noted the book store and some displays about the event. I took some pictures before leaving. Not a place for tourists to visit!
I was expecting more for a place with such a name. I saw just a exposition about Frida Khalo and there is a coffee shop and a library.
You can find the best books in this place also is just next to the most importan library in Bogota called Luis Angel Arango, also you can enjoy the best colombian coffee in juan valdez in front of the building
