Loved the botanical gardens. Between the huge collection of plants and stunning views, this is an Instagramer's paradise!
We visited on a Sunday morning in March on a lovely day and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. It is peaceful and was really pleasant to walk around. Some areas are closed, but for the price (`$2 per person), it was a nice experience. Less than 2 hours would be enough.
As with many places we visit, the botanical Garden is a must. When we arrived , the many parts of the garden were closed. The houses for reconstruction and the rose gardens for spraying. Info and maps reduced to index card sized paper. English speaking tours not available. A bit…
Nice contrast from busy downtown Bogota, but limited area to walk through and enjoy the gardens. Two hours was more than enough time.
