I traveled with 3 seniors and 2 adults and choosing Hansa as our travel agency throughout Colombia was the best thing I did to make it memorable. From planning and choosing the places to visit, Camila Hernandez was easy and pleasant to communicate with. We went to Medellin for 4 days, 3 days in Cartagena and 3 days in Bogota. Our guide in Medellin was Andy Rodriguez. Lovely person. We were lucky to have met Pablo Escobar's younger sister in Montesacro where he was laid to rest. We listened to her while she tells her side of the story in Spanish (Andy couldn't keep up with the translation but that's fine since I recorded and posted everything on YT. If you can translate it, they viewers will surely appreciate it ;) Moving forward, Peñol Guatape is a must climb if you're still able. 742 stairs is no joke. Amazing views. Medellin city tour, it's nice to see the interesting sculptures of Fernando Botero. We love Medellin! So cosmopolitan! The funicular ride and the Guatape lake tour are a must do as well! Next guide in Cartagena is amazing Oscar Diaz. You will learn a lot of new things from him! But better bring your hats/caps and sunnies as the walk around the Castillo San Felipe de Barajas is a killer under the sun! Our guide in Bogota is the awesome Oscar Romero. You can't go wrong with this guy, he made the market tour (Plaza de Mercado de Paloquemao) very interesting and worth our while! We tasted the local fruits, drank different kinds of juices, interacted with the locals. The food tasting was really a treat and the colorful flowers outside, wow! We truly enjoyed that part of the tour. Don't miss the funicular ride to Monserrate and have lunch at Restaurante Santa Clara. Yummy! The coffee experience at Colo, the empanadas at LaPola, the walk at Plaza de Bolivar, the chocolate at Chocolateria in La Macarena, The Gold Museum, Walks at the Candelaria. There are too many to mention! Just hire the Hansa Team and go to Colombia! You won't regret it!
