We booked all of our Bogota excursions and air transfers through Hansa Tours. The company was extremely efficient, attentive, and very accommodating ... and worked with us when we had to make some last minute changes to our itinerary. Ivan was our tour guide and he was extremely knowledgeable and interesting to talk to. My kids (young adults - 19, 21, 24) related to him very well and they all had a lot in common to talk about. We enjoyed the 4-hour City Tour which included visiting the Candelaria area and the Botero Museum. The next day we went to Zipaquira Salt Cathedral which is definitely a Must Do. Our driver was amazing - and Ivan was fun to be with all day long. I highly recommend Hansa Tours and Ivan!!!!

Tomas was super knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend him as a tour guide; he obviously loves Bogotá and its history and art. He guided five of us on a bike tour of the city one day and a tour of markets, coffee and chocolate shops the next day. He cared a lot about giving us a quality, highly informative and fun tour.

Great tours and highly recommend! We found Hansa Tours through our hotel. We booked a private tour with our guide Joel and driver. We went to Monserrate, La Candelaria, and Museo del Oro. We really enjoyed the day, as it felt like a local friend showing us around. Joel is very knowledgeable, approachable, and we felt safe and comfortable walking around with him. He was excellent at showing us his favorite things at the museum, accommodating our food preferences, and customizing the day for us as we were acclimating to the altitude and moving slower than usual. At Monserrate, we didn't have to wait in line. We were at the museum until closing, and he made sure that we were able to see the light and sound show. We enjoyed having a local's perspective and seeing the main sights, but also having time to just walk around, admire the architecture, and people watch. It was a Friday and fun to see people out and enjoying life as the work week wound down and the weekend was starting. We enjoyed talking with Joel very much about life in Bogota and other areas of Colombia. It was our first time in Bogota, and we were very impressed and want to return. At the end of the day, we were so pleased that we wanted to do another tour with Joel, but he was already booked for the next day.
We were able to book the Zipaquira Salt Cathedral tour the next day with Andres. He was also great. The Salt Cathedral was definitely worth the visit, it's very impressive. Andres provided plenty of historical info for context. We enjoyed coffee and empanadas, walking around the town, and talking with Andres about Colombia.
We had a short trip to Bogota, but definitely recommend Hansa Tours if you go. The guides are professional, knowledgable, and interesting to talk to. With the private tour, we felt safe and comfortable. We are English speakers with some understanding of Spanish, but both Joel and Andres spoke excellent English so we were able to converse freely in English. I would recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in seeing the sights but also having good conversation with locals to get a better understanding of the culture of Bogota. I would recommend asking for Joel or Andres if they are available!

Juliana is an excellent guide with deep knowledge of Colombia's history, her excellent explanations and anecdotes of Botero, the Gold Museum and Monserrate helped us enjoy our visit more. We highly recommend her. She is an expert in her subject, not only competent but a very friendly, sympathetical, easy going young lady.

I had a wonderful morning and afternoon with my guide Tomas, who was very knowledgeable about the history of Bogotá and Colombia. We covered so many things in one day - we ate a lot of delicious fruit Mercado Paloquemao , took a funicular up to Monserrate, walked around Plaza de Bolivar and saw beautiful artworks at Museo de Botero. Tomas was very good at explaining everything, from different types of fruits to the work of artwork of Fernando Botero. I learned so much in one day and had fun too!

The guide, Santiago was effortlessly knowledgable and utterly pleasant, achieving the most a foreign person can get, feeling at home in these brief couple of hours. We ended up gut feeling the culture, the people, the art, the life.
Amazing experience which we would very much repeat!

Our tour to Medellin was an absolute delight! Much better experience than anticipated.
The first day we enjoyed a very nice dinner over El Poblado, such a great place to stay a few nights, go out or just for a romantic dinner.
Thank you HANSA for recommending the best places to venture and get to know Medellin and the essence of its people, culture, history and food.
We really enjoyed our first day in the city and Sebastian and Yovany did an excellent job showing us the little secrets of Medellin and how to get oriented in the city.
The most beautiful experience was our last day when we went to “Guatapé y la Piedra del Peñol”, very exciting 1 full day tour where we admired the beauty of Antoquia and its unique picturesque towns, gentle people and such breath taking views of the lake. We climbed a huge monolithic stone 720 stair case clung to one the walls of the 400 mts height stone.
Our guide/ chauffeur, Luis Hincapié, was outstanding. A well rounded and educated gentlemen who travelled the world and now is back showing people the best of what Colombia, Antoquia and Medellin had to offer.
I would recommend this crew to anyone who is adventureous and also want to make experience the warmth of paisas.

We enjoyed the Gold Museum. It was well categorized into different geograpical regions. Although a good amount of golden objects left the country ot remains undiscovered, the museum has an amazing collection. Our guide Maria Paula Quintero was able to provide an insight as to how various golden objects were made.

Michaela at Hansa Tours worked with us to curate our personalized itinerary for this first trip to Bogota. Hansa is flexible and professional. Linda, our tour guide, was fabulous, knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and made whole adventure a lot of fun.! There were so many highlights but possibly the one I won't forget was participating in the weekly Ciclovia to explore the beautiful city by bike.

The best way to learn about Monserrate and Bogota!
The Guide (Linda) was super nice, friendly and very knowledgeable about Monserrate and Bogota. She could answer all my questions and provided also some insider infos and mentioned additional facts about the city that you only can get from a real local.
In addition, it was a big plus to have the guided tour, because you get use the fast lane at the cable car station, and this will save you a lot of time from the queuing (which can be very long!).
I really can recommend to take this tour! :)
