Yes you can have a car take you up to the very top but if you can, I would suggest walking because it really gives you a physiological appreciation of the altitude and how the people maneuver around.

Beautiful panoramic views from the top and I would suggest stopping by the HB bronze coffee bar on the way down for a nice cup of Joe as a treat for the workout. There are options for paid bathrooms at the top also

Take about 3-4 hours and walk up to the Mirador Killi Killi . It was quite a walk but worth it . When you get to the top you have a birds eye view 360 degrees of the entire La Paz city , Illimani and other mountains . I suggest taking a picnic up there or a book and relaxing . Caution take a jacket as the wind can be cold and sunscreen :) ENJOY !

Best view of the city - free entrance.
Take a taxi and tell them to wait (not many taxis there)
The view is absolutely stunning.

Awesome circular views of the city and the snow topped mountains. Safe area. Taxi's are cheap. Do not miss it.

- Free admission. Who needs to visit Empire State Building when you have the best view in La Paz right at your doorstep free of charge!

- The very important tip is take it easy when walking up to this amazing scenic lookout.

- Bring bottled water and wear a good pair of walking shoes.

- It does get very hot and shiny so bring your sunglasses.

- While on your way up, keep a look out on stray dogs. They are everywhere! You will not notice it but after a while you will find it interesting that they are everywhere, harmless of course.

- Also look out for lunch stops on your way up. There will be lots of little restaurants to choose from. A lot of them offer menu del dia so choose the ones that look decent.

- Generally it is not cold on your way up because you will get more and more exposed with the sunlight. On your way down, you will start to feel a little cold. So bring your jumper no matter what!

- There is a toilet near the scenic look out. They charge about 5 Bolivianos for entry if i am not wrong.

- This mirador is one of my many favorite places in La Paz and I hope you will enjoy this place like i did.

You can get some panoramic views of the city here. It's not the most beautiful spot itself but good exercise to get up to ( but definitely doable) and you could easily bring a bite and appreciate the views

Made the trek up here and was rewarded with fantastic photographs. Small park to entertain the kids while we gazed at the views.

There are a few spots around La Paz that overlook the city centre and thus offer amazing views, but Mirador Killi Killi definitely has the most sweeping vista to see. Might be an idea to take a taxi up to the viewpoint if you have any mobility challenges as the approaching steep, winding roads can be quite tough in the thin atmosphere.

Great 1st day in La Paz activity to test our acclimatization skills. Short distance from main action but feels worlds away. Love the view and great photo ops!

We walked from Plaza Murillo to there, was around 30 minutes, slow walk, keep going up till Avenida Sucre, then up following the direction on the map.
It offers a good view of the city, if is a sunny day you will get great pictures.
If you have a map it will be easy to get there.
