Beautiful Architecture and Plaza

Plenty to see and eat at the connected Plaza to the Palace. Try the Saltena's or just have a seat and watch the world go bye.

It was one of the stops of our city tour. The Palace itself is not impressive, but good to see and walk around the area. It is not open to the public so we can only enjoy the outside view. It is a good idea to wear good walking shoes, hat, sunglasses and sunscreen. Also bring along a jacket and... More

Fun to look at. It's architecture is almost European. Very different from other buildings that you see in La Paz. Not sure if there are tours, but pretty from the outside. You can see it from Plaza Murillo.

It's an okay building for the Government Palace. Not the grandest place but still nice for a photo op.

Very nice colonial building. The best thing I did was sitting down with pigeon-feeding people in the plaza and enjoying the scene.

I am sure that this is one of the most photographed buildings in La Paz. And deservredly so. The color of the facade is outstanding, particularly when the sun hits the edifice.

Located in the central square, it really does not stand. the cathedral catty corner from it is more impressive.

Nice area to walk around. We were there on a quiet day so not much happening. The square near was full of families with kids chasing pigeons.

This building is located right by plaza Murillo. I'm not sure if you can tour inside ? There's always guards standing outside. But regardless it's a nice building to look at. It's in a convenient location easily accessible by public transportation or by walking. It's close to all the main attractions found in the city. In the area you'll also... More

Never saw so any pigeons in one place! You must go just to take a picture of the large clock next to the park. Presidential guards look bored
