Loved walking to the port in the evening, looking at the lights of the animated restaurants and attractions. Many boats and yachts around, some sea lion too, if you are lucky to see them

Visit the harbour in the morning to buy fresh fish and sea food. At 12pm they are all gone. If you go in the evening, watch a great sunset among gorgeous yachts.

You can buy fresh fish right off the boats. Several stalls to choose from. There are seal lions to watch from two locations. It is a nice walk to look at the boats in the harbor.

Quite incongruous to see extremely expensive yachts and fishing boats berthed ‘cheek by jowl’. Very interesting watching the fishermen preparing their catch in readiness for sale at the numerous harbour stalls. The sea lions provide a wonderful free show.

Walking along Rambla you can go to the Port, take beautiful pictures from there, eat excellent sea food and then go on walking eastwards to see the water of Rio de la Plata mixing with water of Atlantic Ocean !

All of the cruise ships anchor out, as there is no dock large enough for them. It is easy to get to a rental agency. We used Multicar. They have an office right in Punta.
