This museum is a hidden gem in Punta del Este. It beautiful and extremely well maintained. It has several great artist like Dali and Botero. It was not overcrowded and it was not overwhelming as the amount of paints and sculptures are just enough to enjoying them without feeling that your senses are overexcited. Staff is extremely friendly too. A must when in Punta del Este.

visited this lovely museum at the suggestion of a friend who knows the Director. The art is amazing, including many pieces by Salvador Dali. The museum is small enough to be able to view all the galleries easily, but light and airy. There’s a wonderful sculpture garden in the inner courtyard. my daughter and I were so appreciative of the time we spent here.

Beautiful place with wonderful works. The environment is divine. Free admission. Very interesting sculptures, paintings and works of art by authors from all over the world. Cultural activities. Area of very funny optical illusion works. I went with an 11-year-old girl and she loved it. Summer hours from 17 to 21. To reach by public transport there are no stops near the museum, it is a garden neighborhood, from the shopping P del Este are about 3 km worth walking through the beauty of the environment.

Is a museum a museum if it doesn't have a gift shop? Or a cafeteria? Or if it doesn't accept donations or public/private subsidies?
Well, yes, it's a museum, but a very different one.
There are five Ralli Museums worldwide. Ralli Museum Punta del Este was the first. The Ralli mission is simple: acquaint the public with contemporary Latin American art (while also showing some surrealist and classic art).
The building itself is eye-catching, caught between green grass and crisp blue skies.
The two floors of Latin American art (plus exhibits featuring artists like Marc Chagall and Salvador Dali) are impressive, but it was the sculpture garden that I spent the most time in. So pretty and picturesque, with lots of whimsical artworks.

This museum is a must visit place when in Punta Del Este. It has free entry and is full of bronzes in the gardens through which one can walk. There are also two floors indoors which has a collection of paintings and sculpture by some of Latin America's most talented artists complemented by works by Dali, Chagall and others. Of particular interest are the many caricature paintings of past and current day events. The Ralli Museum is set in a beautiful building itself. This is one of the best museums I have visited offering something totally different from what one would expect.

Museum was so much fun! There are 2 courtyards with sculptures, one of which was a significant Dali collection on the sides. Inside there is a nice selection of South American and some international painters. All modern and most are very fun. Museum is laid out like a colonial hacienda. Not many stairs and very accessible. Doesn’t take long to visit.

I'm not a big Art guy and know and admire Dali but wouldn't go out of my way to do this. As the feature part of a ship shore excursion, however, I'm glad we went. GREAT art, discovered a few artists we really liked, a wide and varied collection, a whole courtyard devoted to Dali and pieces I'd never seen. We spent about 50 or 80 minutes. More than enough time, even if you linger. Definitely worth seeing and if you're in the part of the world don't miss the opportunity to see it. It's worth your time, will 'culture you up' a little and even if you have never been to an art gallery and don't give a crap about art - go anyway. It won't be time wasted, trust me. It nothing else it will get you out of the heat and give you something different and pretty to look at. Even kids will get something out of this. Serious art people will probably get a lot more out of it but joe average tourist types will also enjoy it.

This city's inspirational culture shines at the Ralli Museum located in a lovely Spanish style building in the fashionable Beverly Hills neighborhood. You'll be able to browse a collection of paintings and sculpture by some of Latin America's most talented artists, complimented by European works by Dali, Chagall and others. Don't miss it!

The Ralli Museum in Punta del Este is really a place worth visiting! We loved this museum. The layout is perfectly planned, both the indoor and outdoor parts. Certainly you should not miss this wonderful museum, that houses so many of Salvador Dali's works when in Punta del Este. The entrance is free.
If you drive (or go by taxi) it will take you 12 minutes (Ave Roosevelt) to go the 6 kilometers to the museum. We just did.
