    Beautiful and clean beach
Perfect location, clean beach, chargeable part is only 10 AED sunbed 25. The public part is also amazing. I tried both and had a great experience. If for a couple hours visit the public is good. If for more than better to get a sunbed and all. I think it's better to bring your towel as I haven't seen the stands. Coffee and some street food is available.

The most amazing stretch of sand and city in the background. It is an excellent and beautiful beach.
I walked along the walkway that lines this beautiful beach with its golden sand and blue waters. The beach is lined with a small green park with all sorts of concessions and bathrooms that makes it very workable for families. On the weekends, this is where the locals who live downtown spend the day with their families. On a sunny warm day in the winter, I thought it was a pleasure to just relax, get a tan and watch the world go by. The views of the city in the backdrop are just fantastic. Abu Dhabi is an amazing city!

    Stunning clean beach
Immaculate public beach which is safe and has numerous on duty lifeguards. There are small food and refreshments outlets next to the beach such as Tim Hortons and Cinnabon. Some of these venues offer outdoor seating with umbrellas. I visited in August and due to the heat the place was nearly empty. In the summer the beach gets more busy after 4.30pm as people leave work etc and come to the beach to relax and cool down. There are free water fountains approximately every few hundred meters. There is a giant inflatable play area in the water, however I don’t think it’s open in the peak of summer due to the extreme heat. The beach looks so glamorous against the back drop of the modern skyscrapers. The beach is cleaned every morning. I didn’t experience beach sellers. There seems to be strict rules for wearing inappropriate swimwear (you won’t get away with wearing your underwear for example).

    CALM WATERS
I never thought that this is a manmade beach! It was a fine day when my friend asked me to have a visit in Corniche. This is a perfect spot for people who love to have a long walk. The water is calm and safe. This is definitely a family getaway island. Definitely a safe place to visit. You have a lot of option for food! Coffee shop is everywhere which I love! I also got the chance to watch the fireworks display. It took my breath away! It made me appreciate more of the beauty and culture of Abu Dhabi.

Make sure you go in the morning or before 5 pm. In the evening, it gets really crowded. The weekends are even worse. You can't use your bicycle bc it is full of people on those hours. But if you go in the late evening and early morning, it is doable. Women- make sure you walk with a buddy unless you like being stared at and potentially targeted, even while covered! On the weekends, I believe they have these small gocarts that kids can rent for cheap by the hour. It is on the far west side of the corniche.

I am only providing such a poor review for one evening only but our experience was truly frightening and no-body warned us in advance. We had stayed in Abu Dhabi for a week and were travelling back to Dubai to catch a flight on the evening of the National Day celebrations. Apparently what we experienced happens every year and I was furious that neither the hotel or the taxi company warned us in advance. The celebrations include an amazing firework display all along the Corniche Beach however this brings the traffic to a standstill and effectively gridlocks the whole area for miles around, and for hours on end. And once the fireworks finish the locals descend on the area and cover everything with spray spaghetti, and in fact, anything that can come out of an aerosol can. Not being prepared for this was actually very scary - being ambushed and sprayed wasn't my idea of fun, while desperately waiting for a taxi that never arrived. Despite having organised a taxi to get us to Dubai with about 6 hours to spare, we ended up having to pay an unlicensed car to get us to Dubai, and with 30 minutes to spare before our flight departed. This one experience ruined what was an amazing holiday and nearly cost us a fortune in missed flights, plus we stupidly put ourselves in danger taking an unlicensed car. My advice is do not travel on National Day, and unless you wish to vandalise numerous expensive cars, don't watch the fireworks from the beach but from a safe distance.

The beach is clean and has well marked or areas for families to use. We paid 50AED for the use of an umbrella for some shade and 2 sun loungers.

Other beach users did. Or stick to their marked area and the staff did not really enforce the rule which is a shame.

The various cafes and food places where all shut or only took cash, which was as disappointing.

Access to the western end is difficult, over a busy junction. Walking east passes private beaches with no public access. At the time of our visit there was a large science fair blocking access to the sea so we had to walk 2km before we were even able to see the sea.

The walkway us flanked by a very busy dual carriageway road making conversation difficult. Electric scooters are available for hire. These are used by the local young people, particularly at weekends, to race up and down the ‘pedestrian’ path. They don’t use the adjacent cycle path and have no regard for pedestrians who might be in their way, so walking on the corniche is simply dangerous.

Eventuality we got to a more open and less busy area, but the main road and it’s noisy traffic were still present.

Not a good place for a pleasant stroll.

Going to Corniche Beach was actually pretty disappointing. The skyscrapers of Abu Dhabi behind you are pretty cool but the beach itself was underwhelming. There is a fee for entry which wasn't significant and there are lounge chairs and umbrellas to rent. Since Al Lulu Island is directly across, the beach doesn't sit on open ocean. No waves and not overly scenic with the island directly across. Not being able to have a couple beers while out on the beach added to the less than good experience.

I love the sunset and the sand! There are COVID restrictions as well like checking some temperatures and sanitizing, but still i can say that it's a little bit crowded especially during weekends as compared to Saadiyat Island. But still, you can enjoy walking and running along Corniche beach. I just hope they open some of the restaurants nearby. Only cold stone is open.

Beautiful beach which offers both family beaches and singles beaches. The water doesnt have waves and is quiet calm not to mention the water is very warm. Bring sunscreen because the Emirati sun is very strong. We played a bit of soccer because they had goals on the beach and cooled off in the water. Great beach and free too. Parking is a bit of a walk but maybe there is closer and we just did not find it.

Had a pleasant walk along the beachfront when it was closed but took the chance to visit and swim once it reopened after lockdown.
I was staying over the road at the hotel and was pleased they have a private part of the beach with bar and seating etc.
Beautifully laid out and scenic but when we went to swim in the sea the sand was awful - like builders sand and sinking!!!
Having swam a lot at Saadiyat natural beaches I was very unimpressed and could not wait to get out! Felt very sticky afterward
We used the pool thereafter as a much nicer experience!

Heard this was the beach the place to visit.

Thank goodness it wasn't to far to walk.

Resticted access, poor quality sand, gungy sea, life guard restricting where you can walk, no quality views.

Should have gone to Skegness and saved 3 and a half grand! Except the temperature would have been 9 not 29!

Suggest you avoid this beach!
