Went for movie and after finishing the movie all the escalators were switched off and all the people had to wait long time for the lifts or walk down the escalator. Also u r being charged 10 dirhams for parking as they say that u have exceeded 3 hr time period. So a person going for a movie have to pay this fees As there are no means to extend the parking ticket like in other malls which has theatres. Staff in food stall of cinema are very rude. The way he was filling the pop corn cups shows his frustration. Pathetic experience all together

We walked through the Mall & Souk but this review is mainly about the Lulu Hypermarket. As with any hypermarket, this one is huge with pretty much anything you could ever want, food or non-food related, all at reasonable prices. We ordered a selection from the hot food and salad counters, everything tasted fresh and was good value.

Sat in to Leens gourmet restaurant for a cup of tea not having looked at the price. I've just paid 35 dirham / 8e for one cup of tea. The female staff member was friendly and offered a refill of hot water.

I give five stars for the mall but I say avoid the souk if you can. It’s not that there’s anything particularly wrong with itit’s very nice and clean, but the shopkeepers will indeed try to rip you off like crazy as a tourist. Plus one of the shopkeepers tried making advances at my daughter and asked her out to dinner. You’d be better off at Madinat Zayed Shopping Centre but the WTC Mall (minus the souq) is great!

Nice central location. Easy to get to by taxi. Good range of stores and plenty of places to eat. Big bus tour stops outside.

â–ª Came to this Mall following advice from the Lonely Planet
â–ª Disappointed by the number of shops. Very difficult to find good quality shoes for instance.
â–ª Nice archtiecture, inspired by wooden traditional souks

On my visit to Abu Dhabi, came across this mall and decided to visit it. Parking is complicated so better take a pic of where you parked.
Some good shops, some not so good! Just for a walk and to see the options not a bad idea.
Lot of construction work going around, so ensure you are aware from where you have come and where you need to go.
The mall was empty on a holiday. The restaurants are all fast food kind.
Souq side of the mall is very touristy and too expensive souvenirs.

The WTC Mall is not as glitzy as other malls I visited- the shops are for real people, not only the rich. Shops were for everyone- H&M and other general stores that don;t need a house mortgage to look in! There is an array of food/ restaurants/ shops. The actual building is odd- lots of wood, very boxy.
Across the road is the souk- lots of traditional items there and upstairs is Lulu hypermart which is excellent for fruit/ snacks/ meals.
Laughing at other reviewers selling the Starbucks....seriously! Starbucks does not have good coffee...that'd be a place to avoid! (in fact that chain closed down in Australia for poor sales due to poor quality coffee).
Anyhow, this mall was less ritzy than others, I actually felt it was somewhere I could shop. I wouldn't make a specila trip for the WTC but if in the area (or visiting Qasr Al Hosn which is across the road) pop in!
