The Corniche is a good place for a stroll along the sea side, although it is not ideal to walk there during the summer months, especially with families and kids as it just gets too hot. There isn't that much to see and does get boring quickly.

It's a huge city and we stayed at the Southern Sun hotel. However, we just visited a few malls (Abu Dhabi mall, Marina mall, YAS mall) and drove around. It was easy access from Corniche to visit the various sites on Lulu island, Saadiyat island and YAS island. We did not go out at night, therefore, we cannot say anything... More

We had really no knowledge of what to expect with the Corniche, but found it to be an interesting drive. It illustrates the beauty and scope of all the modern construction in the middle of the desert

We visited the beach twice during our visit. Once at night and once just before sunset. The water is crystal clear and the sand is so soft. The sunset view from the corniche strip is breathtaking. Lovely place for couples, friends and especially families. The water is very shallow and there is a barrier so very safe for children. Lots... More

Although, during Nov. thru April this could be a great area to walk, jog, run, sprint or cycle, but driving through Abu Dhabi is a real nightmare I honestly started to believe that the municipality had actually designed the Traffic Light System in such a way to have the car driver, or the passenger for that matter, believe that he... The Corniche is the stretch of sea front that has been purposely designed with easy access, family safe, wide paths for walking, cycling, karting or whatever, and under paths to the parks on the other side of the road. The public beaches are clean and well kept, and has life guards for added safety. Some areas have private access for... More

This is a wonderful place to roam about. There is always something going on. It's the waterfront in AD. Jogging, cycling, walking, enjoying a picnic and local celebrations are held there. If you are in AD you must spend some time there and people watch. You will find people from all over the world enjoying this waterfront. It's also the... More
