This was the only carpet souk we found during our trip and there were many stalls to choose from. They didn’t seem to be used to tourists calling in and they all wanted your custom in a light hearted and welcoming way. Items were reasonably priced and varied from rugs to cushion covers. Nice to see something different.

all your fine carpets for souvenir., be ready to be bored by all the sellers trying to get you into their shops. once you are ready decide choose hand made and of course don't accept their prices. these are people quite simple and kind that will offer tea or water and try their best to make you feel welcome. got a nice red hand made carpet for around 80euros and got it deliver on the hotel.
