All visitors to Abu Dhabi must visit SZGM. I highly recommend the guided tour as they are very interesting and not too long. Inside the mosque is just STUNNING to see. Borrowing abayas and kandoras are fun for photos. Must visit for anyone!!

The mosque was really big and beautiful. Definitely one of the places to visit when you are in Abu Dhabi. Too much effort and fine work done and not to be missed

Being in in the country for years went with my visiting friends for the first time. Amazing and great architect work. Believe the largest man made carpet. Definetly will feel the spirit and peace. Pride of Abu Dhabi.

Definitely take the free tour of the Mosque. It's well worth it! You will be amazed by the wealth of knowledge the guide has and a different entry compare to general public.

The mosque is called 'grand' for a reason. It is not only grand, but breathtakingly beautiful. We are photo freaks, so we arrived in the afternoon, took daylight photos, then took the free guided tour at 5 pm (which was wonderful & well organized), then after some ice coffee at the coffee shop, we took some sunset photos, and then... One of the most beautiful sites i have been too.... the building is finished with immaculate white and golden paint. truly lovely. You will have to wear a cloth covering your whole body...if you wear a short dress, you shall be directed to a building where you a given a jallabiya to wear for the duration of your visit there....

Like most attractions in Abu Dhabi it is very new. I really enjoyed it it's impressive but it does not yet have the history. The Bedouins and desert people of Arabia is the true history of this nation and feels alot more authentic and characteristic of the land. The Mosque truly is spectacular though and well worth a visit. You... More

We love taking people that come to visit us from abroad here, we feel this is a must see if ever visiting the UAE. The whole place is kept in pristine condition, it is a place of pride for the local people which is something to be proud of.

This place is very historical and a must visit. For the ladies, upon entering, when you are not wearing an abaya or covered, the security will ask you to borrow an abaya from the designated area. The amazing thing is that, it is free, you just have to present an ID (Emirates ID or passport is not accepted, driver's license... More
