A pearl for the eye... amazing how it looks and how the serenity and peace can be felt. There is a dresscode for men and women, but that's the only way you can show your respect to them for welcoming you in their mosque.

This is THE must see attraction in the city. Best to go very early or, even better around 5-7 pm, when the light around the mosque is beautiful

Definitely visit the mosque if you are in Abu Dhabi as it is impressive. It even has the biggest carpet and marble mosaic in the world. Definitely bring your sunnies though as being so white makes it very blinding in the sun. If you are female and don't have your legs or arms fully covered you must borrow an abaya... More

It is a marvelous piece of modern architecture. You need to observe the rules but the security is very friendly and they will help to follow the rules. Just be there with ample of time, you will enjoy.

A must see in Abu Dhabi to help appreciate more about the history and culture of the UAE. We visited as a family just before sunset, which is a great time to capture some lovely photographs, plus the temperature is better to walk around in.

Beautiful mosque modelled after Taj Mahal. Would highly recommend the free 45-minute tour, which provides a slightly more 'behind the scenes' look at the mosque. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and gave an interesting and informative tour. There is a helpful illustration of what is considered 'appropriate' dress on the mosque's web site and a covering (habiya) will be... More

The attention to detail is mind blowing. Allow time to take it all in. Appropriate clothing was available for females.

I was expecting to see a nice edifice and still was surprised at the beauty and symmetry of the mosque. No matter if you are Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Agnostic or other, this building is nothing short of breathtaking. The intricate details, and ginormous chandeliers are spell-bounding. We arrived just after sunset so the building was aglow with perfect complementary blue... More

We took the shuttle bus to the Mosque, which took 10 minutes. You are advised to were clothing to cover up and if you had anything exposed, hair, arms etc, you were given an abaya to put over your clothing. Also on entering the Mosque, you must remove your shoes. On entering the Mosque, you are struck by the magnificent... More
