If you're looking for a weekend getaway away of Dubai noise you should book yourself in to the hotel as it is located in a picturesque spot in the middle of Liwa Oasis. There are also many activities free of charge you can try on.

Liwa Oasis is bit far of from main city of Abu Dhabi. Great dessert with green patches makes it very attractive.

Liwa is pure Lawrence of Arabia! It is straight out of Seven Pillars of Wisdom. It is like nowhere else in the Emirates. The sheer scale of it will 'take your breath away'. It is well worth the trip to get there. I recommend staying a few days in a local hotel.

At the northern tip of Rubal khali desert,The large Liwa oasis , stretching for almost 100 km, is located approx 150km sw of Abu Dhabi city and comprises of around 50 villages. A multilane highway connects the oasis to the capital of UAE. full of dates, green houses are scattered amongst the largest and tallest (1000ft)sand dunes in the world. There is a festival held every year , famous for camel racing and visited by international visitors.
