One of the many places that take you back to the golden age of this type of architecture in the oldest city in the world "Damascus " has many features to give a very beautiful idea about this country's amazing history of traditions and culture

It is a beautiful and traditional palace of the region,a calm and quite place .keep it in your list. Please keep in mind,visit Syria only when the situation is favorable.

If visiting the Old City of Damascus, this is a 'must' to see. A beautiful traditional palace with courtyards and fountains and historic chambers in magnifiicent traditional design and settings. Well laid out. Informative and very attractive.

Very nice house, we love it really a lot It shows the reach families how they lived in Damascus at early times , wake distant to national museum which you can spend full day enjoying.

Ancient residence (upper-class, to say the least), beautifully restored. Take some time in the garden as well and enjoy the calm and shade although it's in the old city.

AN old damask palace with alot of rooms that shows different uses, and tells how people used to live that time. GO THERE ;)

This old house is a fine example of the wooden houses of Damascus. The school room and the airy sitting rooms have wonderful ceilings and walls covered in brocades. They all open out to the shady courtyard with its fountains and orange trees. The buildings themselves are works of art with their coloured patterns and the rooms have been converted... More
