I am extremely fond of classical music myself just as the rest of my family members, and it was a privilege for us to attend.

The performance took place in the Auditorium room #3 of the Qatar National Convention Centre and we happened to have 4 VIP invitations, so I managed to take some photos from the first row. The performance was superb.

Qatar offers one of the best philharmonics around. What I appreciate most about the Philharmonic is that they rotate venues. The events held at Katara are spectacular. You'll have a great evening out if you plan on dinner and the concert. You can also check out the same musicians at other venues around Doha. They are always a pleasure to listen to.

While you are in Doha don’t miss the opportunity to see/hear a first rate orchestra at amazing prices. The hall in Katara is an excellent venue and you would be lucky to see an orchestra of this quality anywhere else in the world without paying many times the price. Highly recommended

I'm not a huge fan of classical music but went along more out of curiosity than anything. I understand the orchestra plays in more than one venue in Qatar but I saw them in the concert hall at Katara.excellent venue and the orchestra was hugely impressive. Fascinating to watch how all the parts come together to produce the music. I would guess it would cost several times the price of the tickets here to see an orchestra of this quality anywhere else in the world. So a fabulous opportunity whether your a classical music buff or not. Well worth trying. I shall return

Concert tonight at the Katara Cultural Village was outstanding!! Sandstorm is tour de force from start to finish. 3 cheers for Andy Brown - brilliant conductor. Vocalists were such a treat and Alyamani's violin shined brightly. Al Fardan has shown her talents in spectacular fashion - Bravo!!

The Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra perform at a range of places, the QNCC, MIA park and Katara to name a few. The music is fantastic and I never want to stop listening. They are all professional and extremely talented musicians. I highly recommend going to see them.

Saw the orchestra last year at QNCC playing the planets. They were brilliant and I felt honoured to see them. Will definitely make an effort to see them again.

The Qatar Philharmonic is patronized by local expats primarily. The concerts are presented within the Katara Cultural complex, which is mostly restaurants, and we wanted to actually "do something". Booked the tickets on line, had to pick up physical tickets at the Virgin Megastore about six miles away, very inconvenient. However, the performance was very good. I'd recommend going over around 5pm, having dinner, then hearing the performance which starts at 7:30.
