I literally booked my hotel reservation at the Hilton Doha based on Poseidon's great reviews, and Poseidon did not disappoint! I had a very small window of time in Qatar to squeeze-in a dive with this outfit, and they jumped through hoops to accommodate me within hours. Specifically, Paulo was amazing! He is a fantastic dive instructor and host. I enjoyed driving with him for about an hour to the beach where we dove, and I enjoyed our conversations about diving, local attractions, and Qatari recommendations. Paulo was very safety and customer service oriented, but he also gave me the freedom to gain more confidence on our dive as I am a newly certified OWD. Poseidon provided 100% of all the equipment I needed...I just showed-up with a swimsuit. I will coordinate further in advance for my next time diving with Poseidon, and I would absolutely recommend this team for anyone who has never dove before but wants to try scuba.

Poseidon Dive Center is the most established dive center in Qatar from many perspectives, certifications, location, equipment brands they represent, and overall what you would need to start or continue diving in Qatar.
I have done my PADI Advanced Open Water with them after having NAUI Open Water and their level of support and professionalism has been exemplary. They have very good instructors and assistants and they are very patient and supportive and you will learn something every dive and at the same rate still receive the fun of having done another dive.
After doing my certification I decided to join their dive club which for a reasonable amount connects you with other fellow divers and also gives you based on the membership level you chose a good number of free rental for the tanks and weights and the access to dive with them for one year which means you would always have a dive buddy to dive. I found this to be the best combination for me since I have my own equipment and my friends are not always willing to go diving.
Also keep in mind that the rental rates in Doha are stabilized over all diving centers so basically the price of rental is the same with all diving centers but personally I would chose to dive with Poseidon because they are going out every weekend and also some night dives during the week and they are a fun and safe group of people to be with.
Poseidon has what I believe the most comprehensive coverage between equipment, training, diving location, and group friendly atmosphere.
Be it a first time diver, looking into diving, or experienced I would suggest to make it easy on you and chose Poseidon, they are in West Bay at Hilton and they have good new equipment, they fill their own tanks, many brand dealers, own classroom, and you can also arrange to hop with them to the diving location which unless you have a 4x4 would be an issue.
Why do bits and pieces with other centers when you can do everything in one nice place and enjoy the fun in the water! This is my two cents on them.

The team of Poseidon is very professional and give you a feeling of security, especially for me as a newcomer to diving this was very pleasant.
Despite a larger group, they responded to everyone individually and had an eye for every detail.

I am brand new to Scuba Diving and from the moment I walked into Poseidon Dive Center I was welcomed with open arms. The experience was unforgettable from the theory examinations to all the safety procedures and basic diving procedures covered in the practical pool dive which by Karim’s standards had to be absolute perfection which I admired as he was ultimately responsible for everyone’s well being. The 4 ocean dives were without a doubt the best experience I’ve ever had, I was nervous and unsure of what to expect going under ocean for the first time yet I’ve never trusted anyone as much with my life than Karim and his professional instructors, they are all extremely well experienced and put you to ease ensuring that you learn fast and efficiently. I definitely recommend Poseidon Dive Center for anyone who is starting their diving journey or anyone who wants to further their knowledge. I am certainly going to be signing up for the advanced program with Karim and his team !

They were extremely professional and knowledgeable. If we had any questions, they were able to answer them. They moved at our pace, so we never felt like they were rushing us. Overall the experience was amazing and I've already started recommending it to everyone.

Kareem and the team at Poseidon are amazing. From the moment I walked in I was made to feel very welcome, The knowledge and experience the team have is exceptional.
The courses are structured very well with a clear and concise approach and are delivered in a way that makes them enjoyable.
Would highly recommend for either beginner or experienced divers.
Looking forward to visiting the team again and continue my diving journey.

So it was my very first experience of diving with very little knowledge of swimming. When i approached Poseidon regarding my interest, Muhammed assissted me with all sort of details. And it was no problem for me to understand how i need to prepare myself for diving. My inhibitions regarding diving changed into excitement because of the amazing team. I would thank Kareem to be quirky and jolly for keeping it all lively for us and for not letting us get scared. 👏👏👏👏👏
Its was a very beautiful and smooth experience overall. There was not even a sec when i felt that its not going well. And i feel the credit for all of this goes to all 4 of very handsome men of poseidon 😀
If you wanna try it, you can trust the team for every single details. And Kareem, hire me as your photographer 😂 so i get more chances to feel utter silence and know how loud my mind talks. It just makes you a better person.

It's fascinating to see a whole different world underwater. Instructors in Poseidon Dive Center were very accommodating. Encouragement and well delivered instructions were given for first timers like me. Security is felt while diving since instructors were all around to assist; moreover, the price is right for the well compensated experience. 😊

Amazing Dive shop, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and FUN! Had an amazing time diving here.
Originally planned on doing only open waters. The course was so fun and amazing, I decided to finish the Advanced open waters too. Registered as a club member now and thinking to go for Master too in the future. They are that good that got me so hooked. Made everything look so easy, fun with lots of patience and always safety first that really helps on building confidence and enjoy everything from the very first dive.
Highly-qualified and I recommended!

I recently got certified with my open water diving license. Wow what an experience. Poseidon Dive Center team is truly awesome. The team the other divers were so welcoming and helpful. I would recommend this dive center to anyone who wants to get their diving license. They are so professional and you feel like you are part of a family. Truly incredible. Can’t for my next dive. Thanks Team and a special thanks to Carim. Nothing but the best!

Hello Pmhak, There are few interesting snorkelling spots in Qatar but they are not the same spots for diving. However, i have to mention that those spots do not have corals but mainly fish, sea grace and rocks.
