No need to travelto go to a shopping centre. Many are better in Australia or Europe, just the same shops like everywhere in shopping centres

This is a mall that is a little smaller than many in Doha, but that’s not a bad thing! It has almost everything you’d need. You can do banking nearby, pay your tv and internet bills, but blitzing, sporting goods, have a snack, etc.

It's an amazing shopping mall with all branded shops. Carrefour is biggest shop where we did lot of shopping & went to checkout out food court at top floor for delicious food. Really enjoyed our trip this amazing place.

This is a nice place to hang out with lots of stores and a decent layout. It would benefit from having more restaurants options however what they do have is good.

What can you expect? The place has a good variety of shops and restaurants, but doesn’t offer anything exceptional. The lifts were slow and often full and a wheelchair user would have to compete with supermarket trolleys for space.

I frequently visit City Center mall. It is my primary shopping destination and I couldn't be happier. Now that there is a new bathroom on every level and a bunch of new stores opening, it is still my go to mall. As a new mom...More

Souq Waqif is the best place to visit. The museum of Islamic art is just across the street from souq Waqif and it is highly recommended. There are some hotels in souq Waqif if you want to relax.

Trip report part 1 and 2 (5 Replies)
Tuesday 15.00 set off for Windsor to avoid rush hour traffic on M25 to have a meal before going on to Heathrow Airport. Arrived at Heathrow about 18.00 had to wait until 18.40 before we could drop off bags as we had already checked in on line the night before. We where asked if we would like to upgrade to World traveller plus for £150 each decided to go for it as normal price would have been about £400 each so the guy said, not sure if this is true as this was our first flight with B A. As...More

garments, pictures with falcon, soft drinks the only thing you had to pay for was alcohol and gifts and quad biking. After the belly dancer we had our food and the time now was getting on for 10.00pm so off we went back to hotel.End of day five. Day six,our last day we set off for airport to night at 10.00pm with curtasy bus taking us to terminal 1 for our flight back at 1.45 so all we are doing today is relaxing by the pool and having a sleep before we set off . Just back! (10 Replies)
We arrived back from Dubai yesterday. Had a fun time. Just wanted to let you all know what we thought of it, and also to thank those who gave me wonderful info before we went. We stayed at Novotel, which was nice, and in my opinion well located. We had a short hop in a cheap taxi to anywhere. Most expensive taxi was to the gold and diamond park (right along Sheikh Zayed Road near the Burj), and even that was only about £4. Got some gold. A diamond baguette ring, diamond hoop earrings, a...More

Bling bling extravaganza.... excellent!!! All should do that so that Dirham becomes stronger and we can enjoy more when v trvl out.... Blue bar is a rip off. Its mainly there to get the quick buck off the tourist and business people who use the convention centre. I think they are trying to keep it a bit classy and businessman type. Am surprised u found it hot when u arrived. The weather marvelous through out the day even during afternoon. We now play football at 5pm and its just...More

Luggage storage at Deira City Centre Mall (4 Replies)
Hi, does anyone have any information about storing luggage (2 suitcases) at Deira City Centre Mall? Like how much for say 12 hours? We arrive at the airport on a Friday about 07.00 and then have all day before boarding a cruise about 20.00 that day. Would spend time at the Mall and the Souk and want the luggage left in a secure place. Thanks
