The Corniche, in all its five kilometers, is undoubtedly one of the most scenic walks one can take in Doha. Concerned about the distance? Don’t be. There are quite a few nice places where to stop and soak in the views!

Long sweeping views of the bay, with tourist boats and phone charging points along the 4km walk. Nice coffee shop at the town end, Fab for dusk walks, wear a hat and don't underestimate the heat.

The Corniche offered a great walkability, excellent views of the city, the Pearl and coast line. Wide sidewalks, urban activation, and a feeling of safety and security.

A must-see for the photographer or first-time visitor. The Corniche offers a number of stopping points along the water where a visitor can stop and enjoy the cool breeze off the water in the Spring and fall, or a photographer can snap a skyline photo. Recommend stopping near the Al Mourjan and walking the small park at that location for... More

The Corniche in Doha stretches from West Bay along the coast for bout 7km. It's a wide paved walkway where you can walk, cycle, jog with plenty of green spaces to sit and picnic. It's a beautiful walk, especially at night with the lights of the old dhows as they crisscross the harbour. A favourite walk is from West Bay... More

My experience of Doha was that it is definitely not a walking city. The immense level of construction and road user priority is embedded in its planning, with pavements stopping suddenly and safe crossings rare and far apart. Saying that, the corniche is a godsend in such a busy, car prioritised city. Our hotel was in west bay, so we... More

Doha's Corniche is stunning. We never get tired of walking it or sailing from it or drinking a coffee on it or just looking at it!

It's beautiful by the water. Relaxing. I enjoyed sitting on the wall watching people walk by. The souq is nearby. I thought there was plenty of parking too, but that isn't always the case. Great for a sunny day activity where you just want to get out of the house and not have to spend a bunch of money.
