- goodguyjasLondon, United Kingdom1,210 contributionsBrilliant and stunning Italian themed Mall with fun fair, amazing shops and fun canal with Gondola rideMalls are of course massively popular across the mega hot Middle East and they are everywhere and often very similar. So it is great to see one with so much character and charm and with a fantastic Italian theme throughout. The stunning shops are what you expect, plus coffee and cake shops as well as restaurants. But you also get a big kids fun fair with loads of rides and activities along with stunning Mediterranean boulevards modelled on glorious Italian architecture. The decorative street feel transports you to the beautiful Italian towns. The sky painted ceilings, dramatic domes, bridges, decorative lighting, fountain and of course the fun and Beautiful canal with Gondola rides are to marvel at. Wonderful! If you visit one Mall in Doha this is it. More clever ideas like this make the Mall experience a day out.Visited October 2023Traveled soloWritten October 8, 2023
- LeahthetouristLondon, United Kingdom400 contributionsThe mall to visitExcellent mall. We went on the gondola which is 10QR each. We then went to the theme park where Mon-Thur 10-2pm you can get a wrist band for 50QR and have unlimited rides, really good value. Has all the shops you can think of and a large food court. Also an indoor ice rink.Visited October 2023Traveled with familyWritten October 24, 2023

Loads of big brand names to shop from. Also has an indoor theme park which is very good for all ages.Visited October 2023Traveled with familyWritten October 29, 2023
- Bozeman-DublinTrim, Ireland11,334 contributionsStunning MallVillaggio is an incredible place. Let me just set this out first, I have no interest in shopping or in malls...and yet thi please just blew me away. It's amazing. It's has to be seen to be believed. There is a canal system running through it complete with gondola! The roof is made to look like the sky and the shops look like pastel coloured Iralianate architecture. It looks for all the world like you are outside on an Italian Street. Amazing. And there's an ice-rink in the middle! And a 2022 World Cup Stadium outside in the car park! Just...wow.Visited November 2023Traveled soloWritten November 9, 2023
- Andy BarnesSutton, United Kingdom2,384 contributionsGreat place to shopI visited this shopping mall today. Plenty of parking, plenty of access points and a really nice atmosphere inside. Every shop you can imagine. Unfortunately for me all the shops are exactly the same as I get in my hometown in the United Kingdom. Far nicer atmosphere, lovely decorative shop , the river was a lovely Touch and a funfair and iceskating rink with lots of restaurants. I would definitely recommendVisited November 2023Traveled on businessWritten November 30, 2023
- VickiLondon, United Kingdom672 contributionsStunning & Impressive “Venetian” Mall! This is one shopping mall that you must visit! Once you enter the main doors, it is as if you are in Venice as everything is Italian themed from the sky designed roof, beautiful dome roof, stunning Via Domo roof to the gondolas, shutters and the shop designs and layout throughout. The shops are also very well designed and decor easy on the high. There is a section that caters for luxurious brands and here you can get a personal shopper or shop in peace away from the crowds. The shop assistants in the shops I visited were very friendly and professional. There is an Iceskating rink, a cinema, an indoor theme park and a food court as well. It is near the metro so very accessible. They could do with more visitors though as understand that since the World Cup, it has been very quiet and they really need to do a bit more marketing to attract shoppers. Highly Recommended for some high end retail therapy!Visited November 2023Traveled with familyWritten December 23, 2023
- Francisca S7 contributionsTotally worth a visit – and maybe a second round of that roller coaster! So, you stroll in, and boom – you're greeted by these grand arches and fancy fountains. It's like entering a shopping wonderland. The architecture is top-notch, seriously. I felt like I was shopping in a palace. And the stores? Pure class. From international fashion brands to local gems, Villaggio's got it all. You can shop till you drop and then grab a cup of coffee at one of the chic cafes – perfect for people-watching, by the way.Visited October 2023Traveled soloWritten December 27, 2023
- Robert SSan Jose, California2 contributionsTHE BEST HOLIDAYEnjoyed my tour here. The mall's layout is easy to navigate, and there's a perfect mix of shops, dining spots, and entertainment options. The food court boasts a diverse range of cuisines, catering to every palate. It's a great place to unwind after some retail therapy. What truly sets Villaggio apart is its attention to detail and commitment to creating a pleasant atmosphere. The indoor canal with gondola rides is a nice touch, adding a touch of whimsy to the whole experience.Visited December 2023Traveled with familyWritten January 8, 2024

We were the told by locals, this is the best.
We entered at the high end brands and walked through. The mall is very artificial, no daylight through the whole mall, maybe for sun and heat reason. You will find the whole mall with buildings and sky as a small real shopping world, normal up to high end brands like Tiffany, Cartier, Jimmy Choo, Louboutin and more. Prices are nearly the same as in Europe, for us no reason to pay 19% on top custom in Germany.

The Tiepolo-styled ceilings make you feel that you are outdoors here. When I visited it was a relatively quiet time and i enjoyed walking around with interesting shops - many with familiar names such as Boots and Marks and Spencers (both of which I patronised) and a large Carrefour supermarket where I was able to stock up on my supplies of Arabic spices and luxury dates for gifts to take home - no better souvenir. There were plenty of options for coffee or bigger meals. There is also the ice skating rink which has exhibitions as well as regular skating and the amusement section for children which looked like good fun. The gondolas weren't working when I was there but I may not have had time for them in any case.

Personally, I’m a big fan of this mall and I really like it’s services. Villagio mall is one of my favourite malls due to its incredible variety of amenities and fascinating staff with very unique characteristics.
However, today I have experienced a concerning misconception and I am extremely unsatisfied with the following: I went out shopping and bought a sufficient amount of items for my needs, after that, I felt quiet hungry. So, I went and ordered popcorn and nachos from Cineco cinema’s snack kiosk. I would like to say that I am absolutely unhappy by the staff’s service.
I have ordered a mix of cheese and caramel popcorn, the worker has had a misunderstanding and thought I said salt and caramel; he then proceeded and gave me a mix of caramel and salt, I then told him that I would like to have cheese and caramel not salt and caramel… He then gave me an impolite response of, “you made me get you salt and caramel, here it is”, I told him that I actually wanted cheese and caramel, but he insisted I was wrong and kept giving me ill- mannered replies. I am extremely dissatisfied and I will not be recommending Cineco to anyone I know, this is a disgraceful situation that is extremely unnecessary.
I hate that it that I’m here writing a negative review but I wouldn’t like anyone to go through a similar place like mine. I do not recommend this place for anyone looking up to visit and I encourage you try other alternatives.

Las Vegas style indoor mall, with Venetian theme and every luxury shop you can think of. However, the luxury shops were absolutely deserted when we were there on a Friday afternoon...the high prices might have something to do with that!!

One of the best mall's in the area. Roof of the mall looks like you are walking in open area, boat ride is the best and very cheap. Mall has all International branded stores and good selection of Restaurants.

This is an interesting Mall. It has a 150m canal that you pay 10 qar to ride on a gondola and this takes you round. The 'journey' is about 6 minutes long. The roof of the mall looks like the sky, so you feel like you are outside. The pastel coloured buildings give it a little bit of something something. It has a very Italian theme (it gives Venice). So many shops and restaurants to. Choose from 🎉

Very unique place, you walk into Venice to shop. Sky is rounded so it gives appearance it is moving as you walk. To be fair shops were a bit expensive as in Dior etc but great place to wander, also has amusement park we had a go on go carts, not the small or slow ones but good fun

The highlight of the mall is probably the Venice themed canal but it falls short of like attractions around the world like the Venetian in Las Vegas or Macao. The canal is quite short in comparison and the mall itself isn't as clean as other top malls in Doha. That being said families seem to love the skating rink/food court area and I'm sure as a family you could spend a few hours here.
We came to check out the Aspire Tower (currently Doha's tallest) and the mall itself. The tower is very close and worth checking out. There are some good food and shopping options in the mall but it is quite far from the main parts of the city.
There is a nice luxury area in the mall that is not that busy but the luxury stops with the shops as the bathrooms are not as clean or ornate as other malls in Doha of this caliber.
The mall can be accessed by metro and is a short walking distance from Al Aziziyah station. Be careful in the busy parking lot though.

While for us the mall was 22km from our hotel on The Pearl it was worth the trip.
Malls here are definitely a destiny’s d this one did not disappoint.
The inside was bright and spacious and u felt like you were in Venice Italy with bright blue skies and gondolas going up the canal.
Shops ranged from mid to high end. As in this area of the world, cafes abound as well as eateries.
Great selections.
Reason for the 4 star was that the mall was freezing!!
Maybe due to their indoor ice rink? We even saw a group of hockey players practicing too.
All in all another great evening in Doha, Qatar.

Unique shopping and entertainment center with Italian finesse and Venetian aura. From the entrance you can feel the Italian spirit facing the illuminated ceilings, the traditional houses and the small floating Venetian canals, which you can tour by a gondola. From the commercial point of view, you will find here everything to buy and all the well-known global firms. In terms of entertainment there is a nice and huge ice rink, a theme-park and many interesting restaurants, bistro and pastry. This shopping center looks like endless and you'll need a lot of time to browse. It's really worth a visit here even if you don't intend to shop. There is a parking lot and next to it there is a metro station. It is an enjoyable shopping and fun experience.

Yes, loads of places home deliver. But what with the traffic here in Doha these days, you may have to wait for over an hour, and not every pizza I've had has been really hot (I know westerners seem to like their food hotter than others tho). Papa Johns are the best pizzas I think, btw, and you can get great Indian food from Bukhara too.
