I have been experiencing and seeing the changes at the Corniche in phases since last 40 yrs. Best time to visit it is from 11pm to 7am for the peace and fresh air. You can walk or jog or cycle whole day will no insecurity....More

We spent a little time around the Mutrah end of the Corniche which was fascinating. Besides the Souk, the old merchants houses on the water front and Mutrah fort are very interesting as is the atmosphere.

Muscat Matrah Corniche.. Best and wonderful place to go for walking...Taxis, coffee shop , souk everything is there. during friday and saturday able to see omanis enjoying their time with family..Able to see ship's arriving the port and departure..
