This is my second stay at Al-Hamra. It is central, busy and always awake. Anytime of the day , you can find something to eat or do. Hamra is a handy shopping spot for quick fix. You can reach anywhere easily.

It seems it's not the hot spot in Beirut anymore. It become a bit mainstream but anyway in my opinion still worth to go there and as well to stay in that area. And there are still some cool Bars and really good restaurants

I love this street in Beirut, you just walk to sea hundred of retail shops, cofee shops and fast food restaurants. Also you can enjoy a drink at some resto-pubs

Every city has a central point not luxury but u can find what you are looking for for Beirut I felt like here is the touristy kind of it like Alexander Platz in Berlin not a must see but Beirut is small, why not.

Hamra street is a good place for tourists or shoppers. There are many hotels, many shops, restaurants and chain cafes such as Starbucks, Costa and others. Worth a visit but it has one problem (it is always busy). In my opinion it worth to visit

I like this street, full of activity day and night. In the night you can find a lot of good restaurants, pubs and bar with nice music and food.

Downtown is not full of life. Really the cosy places and restaurants are in Hamra. I advice you Gems Hotel.
