This was the HOT spot of Beirut, now showing its age. The movie theatres that we went to, the cafes, etc. now old. Sorry.

The traffic is intolerable. The only thing worth seeing is AUB, the bars are entertaining but the driving is impossible due to the lack of organization. People go back and forth not abiding by street laws or traffic lights.

The road is run down and crowded. Cars drive crazily down the street with little care for pedestrians. This is particularly dangerous when walking with small children or toddlers.

Unfortunately I never stayed at that hotel. But as far as my understanding goes, most of the hotels serve it.
