I love Hamra street, I studied their more than 13 years ago and now returned to visit. Every time I visit Beirut I have to go to Hamra street. Despite all the changes and the new shops, this street still have its magic of multi culture and different classes of the society. Staying in hotel in Hamra or going out... More

A great taste of the culture and the feel of Lebanon. Went to Hamra street from the airport because I hear so much about it. Busy street but lovely people, food and atmosphere. Enjoyed walking in it :)

Very nice it is the symbol of Beirut with all the coffee shops and shops located there. The only negative factor is the traffic which is everywhere now a days.

A long strip filled with stores, restaurants, and coffee shops, where people walk, shop and relax. Most of the stores were having wonderful sales and you could easily pick up things for a better price than the department stores. If... More

Not the cool cosmopolitan boulevard it used to be. You still find a nice restaurant or bar in a side street, though. Too much traffic, a lot of beggars and refugees.

Hamra street is a well known area in Beirut since long time ago. I love this area. It has almost everything; restaurants, coffee shops, shops, stores, pubs, supermarkets, .... Hamra is for everyone and not for a specific level.
