The place is so nice and full of history. IT is a combination of history and contemporary place to spend time between books. Selecting and wondering. They also hold events at the bookstore like book discussions, story telling and they support new or young writers. they work for causes sometimes and they bring people together in a nice atmosphere. they also do have other than books to buy like book marks and gift boxes filled with books and related items that serve well as a gift. don't miss on visiting. it is good for families, couples, Solo visitors

In a time where bookshops are getting rare, Halabi bookshop has proved the opposite, Lana, daughter of the original owner, has been fighting for years and she has turned this cultural corner into a unique haven for reading and books!

Had a lovely chat with Mr Halabi. Purchased lots of kid's books and looking forward to visit again to get other genre.
It's not everyday you get to experience such ambience. So much soul and spirit between those walls.

You can’t but stop to visit this bookshop full of literally all kinds of books. Shelves are elegantly organized with a cute kids corner. Owners are very friendly, always smiling and ready to help! You can buy not only books there, but also a variety of gifts reflecting Lebanon’s traditions. A place where the whole family can feel the joy of the pleasant books’ scent and the story-telling events!!

A charming authentic small bookshop in the heart of Beirut. Make sure you visit for a throwback of memories into your childhood, for a good recommendation of readings or to just hang out and feel welcomed by the genuine owner and his lively daughter.

This bookshop tells you a story without reading any book. Very cozy and personalized atmosphere with each corner demonstrating a theme. You can find all types of books and variety here! from 100 year old books, to the latest novels and business books. This bookshop should be on tourist spots in Beirut . The owners are super friendly and very knowledgeable they offer you something to drink as soon as you enter with some sweets on the side. The prices are very affordable and if you dont find the book then they order for you and deliver it as soon as possible. Even if you dont want to buy a book its worth just exploring this place with such history behind it and authenticity
