Tried to find the Kuwait House for National Works Museum unsuccessfully twice. Drive up and down the road it is supposedly located on. There appears to be no directional signage on the road pointing to the museum nor is there a sign on the side of the building facing the road indicating where it is. If you ca find it... More

Don't expect lots of arting acts, this would be better called an exhibition, than a museum. The first half is narrated while different exhibits light up in time with the different parts of the story. The majority of the content is about the first gulf war and the exhibitions and narration reflect the Kuwaiti perspective of these horrific times. Most... More

As somebody who loves history, I love going to museums. And this museum really teaches you about modern Kuwait history. As usual when visiting museums in Kuwait I was struck by the fact that I was the sole visitor present. It seems people in Kuwait are more interested in the malls rather than history. Starting from the beginning of the... More

This museum is a hard one to get into - they keep very irregular hours and after having tried several times (only to have found that it was closed) without getting in I finally made it! This is a great museum, a cool project, and a great account of the invasion and liberation of Kuwait. Well worth the visit, go... More

Nice and well conceived museum of the Iraqi invasion of kuwait and subsequent liberation. Saddam is not well revered here. Good job kuwait! Good to visit

Very enjoyable museum, detailed displays, one of the best museums in Kuwait for the Gulf War and narrates stories of martyrs and underground resistance. Must-visit for anyone interested in history.

Really enjoyed visiting this museum in February 2013. Would encourage you to stick with it through the basic models trying to detail the invasion until it gets to how countries from around the world helped patch up Kuwait. No idea the task force was so diverse. There is a small room picturing the effects of chemical warfare which is very... More

Nice displays, authentic antique pieces, no-one hovering around to rush you through so a person can take all the time she wants.
