On my walk along the Arabian Gulf Street I passed by several architecturally fascinating buildings, most of them inspired by Islamic design. The first structures, coming from the north, were very much in traditional exterior forms such as the Souq Sharq, the Fish Market, the Grand Mosque, the Seif Palace. Further on they became more modern, although still with an Arabic Islamic influence, such as the National Assembly by Jörn Utzon or then the Sheikh Jabed Al-Ahmad Cultural Centre.

Again I only had the chance to admire the structure, inaugurated in 2016, from the outside. In fact, there were four differently shaped structures close to each other like pieces of precious stones with a very decorative geometrical design pattern. The exterior was all shiny thanks to titanium panels that were covering the concrete, steel and glass interior.

The Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Centre, honouring the Emir. who ruled from 1977 to 2006, is dedicated mainly to the performing arts, while the other Cultural Centre in town, named after Sheikh Abdullah Al-Salam, is more of a Museum for the Sciences.

Visited Cultural center in September 2018, evening time. The music fountain is the main attraction. Entrance is free and there are lot of parking space which is also free. It is good place for walk and relaxation if the weather conditions are good. It is a place to visit at least one time if you are a resident in Kuwait.

I attended a couple of Concerts in this Award winning Building, Excellent Design both inside and outside the building.
It consists of 4 main buildings: National Theatre, A library, Conference Hall and a music theatre.
There is also a variety of International resturants in the Garden outside the Centre, in front of the Dancing fountain.
A must see place in Kuwait City.

A stunning architectural design was opened in October 31, 2016
The center contains several halls, such as the national theater (opera), Drama theater, multi-purpose hall, a conference hall and other seminars also contains a cinema hall.
From the outside there are some restaurants and also the fountain
As a citizen I am proud of this architectural masterpiece and this teacher civilized I think it will be a teacher of tourism landmarks in Kuwait

They have seasonal shows, usually from October to May, yet it is more than theatrical attractions. There is a musical fountain surrounded by delicious food restaurants. Best time from November to April. Highly recommended for tourists.
