I currently live in Jordan and the situation vis-a-vis parks, gardens and green spaces here is quite diabolical. I thought I would see more of the same in Iran; however, the parks and gardens, especially in Tehran and Isfahan, were amazing. City park is one of 2 things that impressed me about Tehran. One is National museum, the other this park. Lovely, clean, green, with various birds. You have fountains to drink water and toilets there (for a small fee of 5000 rials). Right in the middle of traffic and busy streets.
