We were a group of three older travelllers and we really loved the trip, country and especially the people of Iran. We did not go to Teheran, preferring to fly into Shiraz from Dubai and ex Esfahan to Dubai then home. Our guide Sahar and driver Ali were superb. They went out of their way in giving us a warm welcome and a great time.We enjoyed our time together. The hotels were all good .. the one in Esfahan needed a few hours to settle into after the lovely hotel in Kashan. It was very well located and the staff in that hotel were wonderfully helpful. We fitted in all we wanted to see! The tricky bit was Yazd- where we had a wonderful 2 days looking at Persepolis then the Zoroastrian fire temple sites. We loved our visit to Nartitihouse. The Pahlanavapour garden we saw at dusk turning to night. It was splendid but it was a long road trip to get there! Sahar and Ali did not drop things off our itinerary, which we all really appreciated. We highly recommend the itinerary we were helped to settle on, the tour guide and driver and the excellent Holly in Melbourne.

We had a fabulous 16 day private tour of Iran, thanks principally to our guide Leila. Starting in Tehran we flew to Shiraz and worked our way back by car, spending time in Kerman, Yadz, Isfahan and Kashan with one night at the Caravanserai in the Zeinoddin desert. Everything went smoothly, our accommodation was excellent and the food was a highlight. Leila was a mine of information on the country and its history She chose some amazing traditional eating spots. We were welcomed everywhere we went.

You most civilised, friendly, serious place.....and what a way to find out about you. The tour organised by Holly (& Karen) was the perfect way to get immersed in the place without knowing the language......except the language of friendship. Thanks to Rashed (guide), Ali (driver), Shakram (another driver). Do It! Jeff & Karen

We spent 16 days travelling around this amazing country! We were able to tailor the trip to include some cities that we had specifically requested. My friend Marius who booked it all said that he was in constant contact with Holly with emails, she would always reply within 24 hours. Our driver Vahid was exceptional! Even with his limited english we had no problems in communicating with him. I have been fortunate to travel to many countries, and I felt more safe and secure travelling through Iran than I have in most other countries, my own included! What makes this holiday so memorable are the people I met - the Iranians would have to be the friendliest and most genuine people I have ever met, they could certainly teach the Americans a lesson in hospitality! Beyond Persia are excellent, I would have no hesitation in recommending them. Visit Iran - it will be the trip of a lifetime!
