Quiet chilling and beautiful family dining in north of Tehran. Cold in winter and mild in summer. highly recommend to visit there for an afternoon or night for having your dinner with your travel partner or even better with local.
Mostly Persian traditional dishes are served there like kebab and dizi and price is reasonable.

Are you leaving for Tehran, in northern Iran? Discover the most top things you can do in there.

Capital of Iran located in the north of the country, at the foot of the Elbourz mountains and the Caspian Sea, Tehran is the largest city of the country with, in 2015, about 9 million inhabitants and more than 15 million people in all the urban area. Perched between 1,100 meters and 1,700 meters of altitude from south to north, the city extends its ramifications on 686 km², the entire territory of the municipality of Arles .Because of its position between the mountains and the desert, the Tehran agglomeration has several climatic influences, with a cool and semi-humid climate in the north and hot and dry areas in the south.
And these are a few reasons of all that I recommend you to go to Darakeh mountain to have an overall view of Tehran, and also gain a total different experience in there.

No matter what time of year it is (not very recommendable in summer though!) you will love it , natural mountain with fantastic landscape and rivers ,
My favorite month is March and early April loads of fresh juice bars and Iranian style cafe ( serving tea with dates and Nabat)
Great hike and it takes average hiker 1 hour to get to 6th station , if you continue it reaches to Tochal mountain .
Wear your boots and hike , mean while enjoy the god gifted scenery.

You can try big restaurants and there are many small ones as well to have a meal or tea and coffee.
Try fresh traditional breads .
Enjoy 😉

This destination is alone worth it just to eat at SPU Restaurant. The whole area has an interesting feel, which it much different from the rest of Tehran. Liked it so much, we ate lunch at SPU twice. Also, be sure to have tea in one of the many tea houses where you can lounge on a carpet and pillows.

A very nice, pleasant place with different beautiful restaurants and delicious food. Colorful autumn, tall old trees with the river flowing underneath, makes it an appropriate place for mountain climbing. Each season has it special beauties. You can also find herbal products, fresh fruits and juices besides the instruments for climbing.

one of the best places in Iran for relaxing and enjoying good Iranian cuisine, good weather even in the middle of summer and even to climb an easy mountain to reach the tip of towchal. You will see here many fruits and nuts. This is one of the best places in the world. Go and help yourself with many things.

I like it, very good start for mountaineering trip to Palangchal shelter or Palangchal peak, or even going to Tochal mountain through this route. I've visited it so many times solo or with friends.
