This is a gorgeous Street and particularly fine in the northern section where the trees are huge and form a complete arch over the road. This is particularly good on hot days in the summer as the shade under the trees is delightful.

The avenue is worth a visit to explore the other Tehran....the wealthy northern area. The avenue has some interesting and quirky prices of sculpture along the route which adds another dimension to the line of trees. get there early before the traffic builds up.
